Just some conspiratorial observations.
Nothing wrong with that but the OP was all about "that youthful bunch that never seem to age decade after decade" and "the spice that reduces aging, and maintains their health well into old age".

That is putting the cart before the horse.
The first thing would be to prove said chemical has anything to offer. It certainly isn't youth.

But there have been plenty of actual admissions by folks like Peter Theil and others fund the research for things like young blood transfusions. There was some company called ambrosia, was shut down by FDA..made the news. Is it “adrenochrome” particularly no, but the idea that there is NO truth to this is naive. It’s a vast world and there’s been documented child sacrifice since the dawn of time and it’s for some reason.
They waste billions every year you don’t think they’ve secretly done a study on why ancients sacrificed children and if there was any super natural component to the practice? Bet.

I rather have all humanity die off then this nasty practice to be true.
I really really hope there is not a group of people that are that collectively sick and twisted.
I refuse to believe that, because that would give any normal human nightmare for life.

That could be because it's a great sexual paraphilia for them and/or they get some placebo effect.
There's also the possibility--for those who consider a metaphysical-science (quantum etc) mindset--that maybe there's a "spiritual" component that really does make a difference between the two.
Sure but when you look at people who supposedly might be into this, they don't look particularly youthful.
That is the disconnect I don't get when I hear people talk about this. "They are using kid's blood to remain young!!!".
Yeah then why do they look as old and ragged as someone their age would, even with make-up and hair stylists doing their best to counter it?

Well I added some speculation to spice up the original OP. Maybe the fountain of youth that works on physical appearances is the red herring smokescreen and there’s something else going on with the ‘harvesting’ of said chemical.
Ya never know.

There are some sick MF's out there. Wouldn't surprise me none in the least that some power hungry elites would do this.
For the most part almost all of them I ever seen still look and sound old as dirt. Unless their just a face put out there to shield the real one. Soros comes to mind first, then Gates, then that fella that said you'll own nothing and be happy, Schwab I think his name is.

Then maybe stop saying it is adrenochrome.
Also, young blood transfusions is from young adults and it is no more harmful than donating blood so who is being hurt by that?

Let's say they did. They certainly didn't find the fountain of youth, as the OP proposes.
Did they find the spice you added to the thread?
Again, cart before the horse, you don't even know if such things exists. Wouldn't that be needed before saying that is why it might be done?

Yup. And although the OP posed "immortality" most of us pondering the uses associated with these technologies understand that it's not necessarily about living forever and it's not not about living forever.

So assuming it isn't extracted from children that would be synthetic Adrenochrome.
Of course, just like all the other synthesized compounds bought and sold that still do what their natural counterparts do.
The idea of scaring children and milking adrenochrome out of them is bait based on nothing but the yanking of heartstrings.
My sources tell me that the 'drenochrome one gets in kilos from China just doesn't have the same bouquet as the stuff ripped from a terrified toddler. Sure, my sources are my own arse, but it's been correct in everything asked of it, so far.
