Read this in todays Guardian, it is not opinionated and is pretty objective if you ask me. Anyway it's a good read.

www.guardian.co.uk...

Does anyone doubt the OSP was setup as an agency of yes men?

Only these yes men decided on the potential threat to the security of the world, is there something missing here?

Whats wrong with the existing intelligence agencies?

Oh, i remember they weren't giving extreme enough views on the threat, so for the Pentagon to get the required intelligence, rumour and disinformation to seem as if it was an accurate assesment, Mr Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz got together and called some old friend to come and be yes men and make sure the lies could at least seem legitimate at first.

Luckily the press on both sides of the Atlantic seem to have exposed this rediculous abuse of power, and lets hope it never happens again.

"Office for Special Plans" .. sounds like spy fiction. Or like a mansion for the mentally retarded who also deserve their share of life. The confessions under interrogation will be funny, imo.
