A pair of Hungarian tourists in Egypt have been stabbed after kissing in a public market near a historic mosque.
Police said a man attacked the two with a knife as they paused at Cairo's famed Khan al-Khalili bazaar.
The attacker - who was described by police as "mentally unstable" and "depressed" - was apparently enraged by their public show of intimacy.

Fortunately, the couple escaped with only minor injuries, and the attacker was promptly arrested. The police say he was "mentally unstable".
Whilst that may be the case, Egypt's tourism industry has taken many hits over the past few years from repeated attacks against Foreign (mainly
western) visitors by Islamic militants and other extremist groups.
The police's description of the man as unstable may be true, but one has to wonder, is this indicitive of general Muslim attitude to foreign visitors
in their land, and the way they can be expected to be treated?
