This pre-print hightlights once again the lack of severity of Omicron.
Combined with my other post that Omicron breakthrough infections yield broad response than vaccines does, this for me atleast, once again shows that Omicron is indeed a potential natural vaccine to Covid-19.
Early estimates of SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant severity based on a matched cohort study, Ontario, Canada
www.medrxiv.org...
In short:
Omicron risk of hosp: 0.3 %
Delta risk of hosp: 2.2%
That means that it would take 1.000.000 omicron cases to affect the health care system as much as 136.000 Delta cases.
How about that.
Now take those percentages to your respective countries and do the math and see how it would work for you.

While severity may be reduced, the absolute number of hospitalizations and impact on the healthcare system could still be significant due to the increased transmissibility of Omicron.

And staffing shortages due to firing the front line workers who chose natural immunity over the shot will cause massive issues only highlighting the epic failure of this administration.
