I told you a couple of weeks ago that the hospital where my wife works had mandated the vaccine. Since it first rolled out, it was available, but not mandatory and then suddenly they changed their minds.

On Friday a whole new rule came out.

The Chief Administrator puts out a video every week on the company website and you have to be an employee to log in and watch it. It's usually one of those "pat on the back " type of thing, telling everyone they're doing a good job and letting you know if anything has changed in policy. Well, this one was weird.
Keep in mind that the vaccine became mandatory and if you didn't comply, you'd be suspended till you got it. The new policy has me shaking my head.
"Even if a member of your household tests positive for Covid, you can still come to work "

Ok....wait.

The know full well that even vaccinated people can contract it and pass it along, even if they have no symptoms. Let's say I got Covid again. I mean come on folks, we live in the same house, sleep in the same bed and there's no way in Hell that if I have it, she's not been exposed, but it's still ok to come to work ?

They seem to be making this up as they go along and have no idea WTF they're doing.

They are just being inclusive.

They don't want to discriminate the vaccinated that have relatives with COVID, clearly. This all makes sense to them.

That's been the policy in the retail world since last year. If you're not obviously visibly sick, get your butt to work.

It's no secret to say a major global employer announced phase 3 of their covid strategy which began Dec 1. I'm still spinning from phases 1 & 2

Did they mention whether or not the vaccinated employee needed to be tested regularly if they have a household member with Covid? They aren't really interested in practicing safety if they don't. In reality, hospitals who aren't testing everyone aren't doing themselves or their patients any real favors.

It's to increase chance of catching it so you want the vaccine more.

This reminds of when the pandemic was in full swing and one of my nurse friends told me that even if the nurses had tested positive for Covid as long as the symptoms were not severe they were asked to report to work. I guess you could argue that since they already have it having them work with Covid patients may make some sense but they were assigned to floors that were not the Covid spots! They were mixing them in with vulnerable non-Covid patients. Go figure...

Why would a industry that profits more off covid more than any other want less people to have it

The ones that own the health care industry are not compassionate doctors and nurses there cutthroat buisnessmen that for 2$ would beat you with a pool cue

In order to keep pushing the jab they have to pretend the jab works even though everyone knows it doesn't. Gaslighting.

Seems they want to increase serious covid and death in the unvaccinated, but their belief that the increase in covid and death is limited to unvaccinated is flawed, those that are old or have a compromised immune system also are susceptible to covid and death.

If they kill off all the people who have compromised immune systems, who will they have to treat and make money off of?
