I believe/The Tour

If you like redneck jokes, this is gold. I'm a redneck myself and believe it or not, we get a kick out of telling redneck jokes. Jeff Foxworthy defines "redneck as a glorious lack of sophistication " and admittedly, some of the time , we fit the description. I've always liked these guys because they make fun of real life and find humor in everyday things.

I"m from South Louisiana, a Cajun. We like to waive our supposed lack of sophistication in the face of snooty people, too.

We went to a production of Fiddler on the Roof with some dear friends who leaned toward snooty. They were not snooty, just leaned toward it, but were (and are) wonderful people and good friends.

We were filing out of the auditorium and the lady says, "How do you feel now? You had a dose of culture."

Out loud and in front of the entire audience, I shouted, "BRENDA, I GOT CULTURE COMING OUT OF MY BUTT!"
