You are free to make that assertion next time the government forces sterilization or abortion on women, or legally condones employers who fire women because they're pregnant.

If SCOTUS rules that the states' interest in reproductive rights are more compelling than a woman's, that reality is not far behind.

Unfortunately as much as I wish you were wrong I don't think it will be reversed. This country lost its moral compass a long time ago. We are continuing a downward spiral until we will completely destroy ourselves from the inside. No one will ever try to attack us, they will wait to we destroy ourselves and just walk in and take over.

I don't have a problem with women being able to give up their children if they want to. I have a problem with using that as an excuse to deny them their right not to be forced by their government to carry an unwanted or at risk pregnancy to term.

I have a problem with the assumption that women who choose abortion are so emotionally empty that that justifies governmental ordained forced birth and forced adoption.

I am sorry i disagree. Its starts earlier than that. There is a responsibility on the woman's part to know the consequences of unprotected sex. Once conception it does not become my body my choice it becomes what about the choice of the unborn as well. Why don't they have a choice?

For a long time, religious rights has use abortion in order to have control over women rights and their bodies, sadly many do not see the hidden agenda behind all this, nobody have the right to dictate what a woman is to do with their bodies or their body parts what is next jail time for losing a fetus? or insurance if the fetus do not reach long term?

When men get regulated on their body parts then it should be equal.

Why only women? because is and have always been an agenda.

Why is it always blamed on the man? The woman knows fully that there is a chance of getting pregnant and there is a choice there to not have sex or have protection. It is a two way street.

The issue arises when those of us see the unborn child as a unique individual and have absolutely no rights.

A woman can decide by taking birth control. Which is cheap and free via planned parenthood. There are non-hormonal birth controls (because not every woman can or should take hormonal birth control). And there is abstinence. Choice begins before pregnancy.
