What if no one is coming to save us?

Who you gonna call, the cops? Who can save us, the fire department?

I'd like to believe that more than a handful of people would attend my funeral and maybe one or two would come to the rescue if I was in some kind of trouble. That seems most likely to me, but it might be wishful thinking on my part.

If the SHTF, it's everyone for themselves, but I hope that I know enough like minded and trustworthy people to have that not be the case. No one is coming, but we can come together with those we can trust.

I'm starting to think that many of these people saying "the arrests and the Trump comeback is just around the corner" are disinfo agents. There's no other conclusion I can come to. They are designed to placate people and get them believing in absolute nonsense. They are just as much clowns as the propaganda artists on the left. If they aren't disinfo agents then they understand nothing about how the real world works. Just makes them feel important to act like they are in the know.

A2: I didn't think of it til the recent crackdown on Aborigines, who trace ancestry to Pleaidians. All the religious people in the world have NO PROOF of any afterlife. That’s why they use this, nobody can verify it….. have you heard about the adage “trust but verify”

Differing opinions?…is there an argument going on?…a debate?….but dbcowboy, you are right about free speech on ATS, no matter what the words are, people here get to “express” themselves within the ATS guidelines

I'm rather partial to proof myself jimmyx.

But its worth consideration that our consciousness may not fully reside in our biological brain.

There may be some as of yet undefined connection to the quantum realm that has yet to be understood.

We may just be more than the sum of our parts.

Further study where consciousness is concerned is obviously required but here is the thing, neuroscience is progressing at such a pace that we may be able to answer some of the more important questions pretraining to our consciousness sooner than we think.

Lets just say we live in very interesting times.

Good thread. Of course, I want someone to save us all from what appears to be roaring down the tracks at us as we speak, but ultimately, we are alone in this. What's that saying.. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst..
