YouTube's censorship of a Stanford Medical professor

Jay Bhattacharya spoke with Senator Jim Jordan a few days ago, because Jordan wants to know why YouTube removed one of Dr. Jay's videos. YouTube didn't give any reason for removing the video. Maybe it's because Bhattacharya co-authored the Great Barrington Declaration, which went against the fascist, authoritarian approach to the pandemic.

The fascist vax industry hates Bhattacharya because he has refuted a number of Fauci's claims regarding the covid pandemic.

Even Newsweek magazine is calling out Google and Youtube on the ridiculous censorship!
Ever since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Big Tech has been working overtime to promote its own ideology over any dissent standing in the way. This strategy has only grown during the Biden administration. We've seen doctors censored for questioning the vaccine, along with any posts that did the same thing. It's easy to conclude this was the result of Big Tech working together with the government, which Jen Psaki openly admitted did happen earlier this year. Big Tech and the federal government don't want debate that could undermine their preferred narrative. It's straight out of the totalitarian playbook.

YouTube’s Chief Product Officer Neal Mahon has appointed himself the arbiter! Not elected by any group or parties, he has decided the power lies with him. He determines what you can or can't say! Mahon recently said that he's no longer going after just 9-11 truthers, but anyone who tries to spread covid misinformation. Guardian angel Mahon has said that he'll protect the world from covid misinformation, which he says "now stretches into every facet of society, sometimes tearing through communities with blistering speed.”

In this rambling, convoluted, maniacal speech, Mahon claims that "An overly aggressive approach towards removals would also have a chilling effect on free speech." We are in control!

YouTube is concerned about free speech! They've only removed a million videos!

YouTube is owned by Google which is owned by Alphabet.

Alphabet is a public company as is Google.

And that's the way in for those that are looking for it.

It is not just YouTube or even the MSM.

If you have free and easy access to any information, you would do well to actually use a bit of thought about what they are actually presenting to you, allowing you to know, and maybe even why.

Social media and MSM often uses truth as a weapon. It is often skewed, and distorted to manipulate how you feel, what you believe, and how you respond.

He who owns the media delivery source, controls the narrative.

Most of us have already seen the videos showing the same news outlets in different places, presenting the same exact information being presented, using the exact same script. So most know that the media is basically owned by a few billionaires.

They censor all of us, as they wish. Sometimes it is just not as easy for us to realize we are being censored, or being manipulated by what they allow us to know.

I don’t use youtube for good information. Also, did you expect anything different?

I made this thread to point out how YouTube (Google) is censoring people they shouldn't be censoring.
In this case, a medical doctor and professor.

You can still find a lot of good info on YouTube, on any number of subjects. But when it comes to covid, no.

The worst part about censorship when it comes to public media is that [REDACTED] can [REDACTED] which leads to [REDACTED] and finally [REDACTED]. We need to stand up against [REDACTED] and their censorship.

Outside of the USA, Google is not bound by US law.

Also, It is extremely reckless to assume that what is presented on any social media represents anything other than entertainment. There is no limitation that anything posted must be truthful or represents anything other than fiction.

Social media is not a platform for free speech, primarily due to its anonymity, absence of a requirement for truthfulness, and near total lack of moderation. It is there primarily for entertainment and advertising purposes. It is, however, a commercial platform, run by companies that are 'for profit'. Anyone can post fiction there, within limits of decency, and largely without consequence.

We have decades of experience with TV and most of us do not believe that superhero is actually flying, or has 'powers' etc.

The social media's are advertising and entertainment media, just like TV is. You aren't loosing free speech when some censor takes down hard-core porn, or stuff that counters the sponsors' products and services, or something that is seditious.

Those million videos that they removed after announcing that they would crack down on critical covid videos where in the first 24 hours after google announced it. Many many more have been removed since that day beyond that 1 million video's. Entire channels have been nuked.

I only use YouTube for children shows. But, yet, YouTube likes to selectively push news and news stories they select (by selection, algorithms, or by lying fact checkers) when I load up YouTube.

One. YouTube is acting like a publisher.

Two. You would be an idiot if you can’t see they collude with democrats holding government offices to silence political opposition.

They take down videos of doctors discussing published studies. Yep, they're real worried about "misinformation" aka the truth.

They are selectively censoring people from all over the world, not just precious Americans. Obviously only Americans are important though.

Their agenda is to make as much money as they can. They do this by selling advertising space. That's the business model.
