Ahmaud Arberry’s Father: All Lives Matter, Not Just Black Children

What a beautiful and righteous soul this man has.

After the jury delivered their guilty verdict for the murder of his son, Ahmaud’s father Marcus had the following to say;

“For real, all lives matter, not just black children, we don’t want to see nobody go through this,” Marcus Arbery said. “I don’t want to see no daddy watch their kid get [inaudible] or shot down like that. So, it’s all our problem,” he continued. “It’s all our problem. So hey, let’s keep fighting and let’s keep doing it and making this place a better place for all human beings, all human beings, everybody. Love everybody. All human beings need to be treated equally.”

Even after his son was murdered in what certainly appears to have been a racially motivated incident this man still had the composure, grace, compassion and wisdom to use his 5 minutes in the limelight to preach a message of love for all people.

Others would have used this moment to deepen the divides in the US and world at large yet this man, like the great civil rights leaders preached a message of love for all people.

This has damn near bought me a tear to my eye, God bless this man and may the immense pain he must be feeling be shouldered by us all.

What an example of how we should all be conducting ourselves.

That my friend is classic southern Georgia upbringing I applaud the man, we all damn should.

By all accounts, the man is a pillar of the community and has been a leader since his high school days.

In fact, I believe people were called racists previously for claiming all lives matter.

Why is Al Sharpton always standing behind these vulnerable Black People .

He always shows up when they become useful , I'll bet Sharpton has never sat at that mans table until after his son was shot . That man is a snake in the grass .

Well, the fair Reverend Sharpton may have thought Mr. Aubery was vulnerable, but I guarantee those were Marcus's words and it wasn't words that the fair Reverend wanted to hear.

Why is it so damn hard to just deal with and understand there are bad people regaurdless of color? Whit, asian middle eqastern, and the oh no black. Ugh grow the hell up
