A C-19 story

The restaurant I have breakfast or brunch after golf has been closed for the last 14 days. The underground drums of the jungle said one of the staff had gotten COVID.

Well today they were back open so I stopped in for breakfast. Everyone has had at least 2 vaccines for C-19 at the restaurant. The staff eats together, socializes as any would at such an establishment. I was told today that the cook had not been feeling well and went to a clinic where a C-19 test was given; which turned up positive.

They have contact tracing in country among other things but a business with an employee who test positive is automatically shut down for 14 days and the employees have to get a C-19 test every 7 days before the place can reopen. None of the other staff members tested positive even though like I said the eat and spend a lot of free time together when customers are not present.

I told the waitress today I would not be surprised if the cook had a bad cold or the Flu.. She said she agreed but also why take the vaccine if everyone still gets C-19 ? I rubbed my figures together as a sign of money.. She said, " Maybe for them but not for us who have to work to make money." I left a larger than average decent tip and left the place thinking they should have all had covid if it had really been covid to begin with as all had the same vaccines.

Just a real life story so make what you want out of it.

And has the restaurant ever closed in the past bc a cook had the flu??

What if his test was a false positive?

As many false positives that have been reported that would be my guess as I have had married friends where one test positive and the other didn't yet neither ever got sick.

Oh, I'm sure he was as "covid positive" as this guy.

Bovine feces. It's all nothing but pure bovine feces!
