My other half discovered a weird and wonderful audio-visual experience.

His name is Rousseau and this is what he does.

Hello, I'm Rousseau, I make piano covers of classical and pop songs with a reactive visualizer.

Here are a couple of moving and mesmerising videos:

Ludovico Einaudi - Una Mattina From the French movie "The Intouchables" (2011)

Hans Zimmer - theme song from the movie "Interstellar" (2014)

I know nothing of this technology, but I saw other similar videos by artists using the same technique.

I can see something like this being perfect in karaoke bars. I think that even without knowing how to play a piano, anyone could have fun hitting the keys that correspond to the sprites and play some music.

Enjoy!

Beautiful.

I knew I would enjoy the Una Mattina why I put my good headphones on and lay on the couch. But the second video during the first two minutes I had a tear of joy running down my cheek the visuals were so beautiful until the drop @ 02:10. Thick throat it really affected me in ways I never knew before as I can see colors when I hear music.

Watching the video now with my eyes I see five (!) hands playing the song simultaneous and I am just blown away even more.

Thanks for this other piece! The video is beautiful, too.

I'm glad it touched you. I think music and colours do go hand-in-hand and truly compliment each other.
