Those characteristics are usually immutable. Vaccination status is not.

As for creed?

It Will be Appealed by the Liden Administration and will probably go to the SCOTUS . Lets Hope the Unconstitutionality of Bidens Destructive Mandate will be Recognized by the Majority of the Court .*

Actually, since you have to be vaccinated by the 8th, you had to get the first shot last week at the latest to then have time to get the 2nd shot by the 24th to be considered vaccinated by the 8th. Though those days can now be delayed a month since it is now January. But some of us already got the 1st shot.

Please move to proper category.

Now with Bidens mandate being "halted", does this mean that everyone who was denied a job, fired, denied services, ect have grounds to bring suit against not only the administration, but the entities that denied them of whatever it was they were denied.

If anyone privy to the law could break this down, considering the mandates were never fully enacted until just a few days ago, where it was argued against in a court of law by I believe 3 (maybe more) separate states as unconstitutional.

Yes..big time! Lots of lawsuits will be coming from those who were forced to be vaccinated, then developed vaccination caused medical issues. Those will be developing for decades. I feel so bad for them!

These lawsuits are over Biden's mandates and States' rights. It's not about the rights of private businesses to require their employees or their customers to be vaccinated.

Plus, there's this:

What recent developments? Has a higher court overturned the federal District Court dismissal? Has SCOTUS issued a stay?

Try to keep up yourself. This lawsuit is about whether or not Biden has the authority to order OSHA to issue vaccine or testing mandates to private businesses, not whether or not private businesses need state or federal permission to issue such orders.

Other cases, like Texas' ban on vaccine mandates, will be heard separately. But even these lawsuits, the ones in the OP, aren't about the rights of businesses, they're about States' Rights.

As far as I can see, as yet, courts have been upholding the rights of private businesses to require vaccines.

I thought Dems like big Government? Why would they force gov workers the vax knowing thousands will leave? Their vax dates seem to be set in stone, while states are suing and seemingly stopping the Private business mandates temporarily.

Something is up their sleeves, government that is.

Why do you think that private businesses have tge "right" to discriminate based on people's personal and private medical history? Do private businesses have the right to discriminate against wheelchairs? No. Do private businesses have the right to discriminate against Alzheimers? No. Do private businesses have the right to discriminate against HIV? No. Do private businesses have the right to discriminate against Down Syndrome? No. Do private businesses have the right to discriminate against asthmatics? No.

Do private businesses have the right to ask for proof of a flu vaccine card? No. Do private businesses have the right to ask for proof of Pertussis vaccine card? No. Do private businesses have the right to ask proof of Chicken Pox vaccine or HPV vaccine? No.

But yet some of the nutjobs want to demand people's private medical records pertaining to Covid.

I'm so glad that in Arizona that only about 10 restaurants/bars in the state decided to be snooty pricks demanding proof of Covid vax. And those businesses lost over half of their customers brown-nosing people with their snooty vax fears.

So, there are private businesses in Arizona that are requiring vaccines.

You can thank the American With Disabilities Act for that.

I didn't say that they did or that they didn't. I said that this case isn't about whether or not private businesses have the right to mandate vaccines. It's about whether or not the Federal Government, through OSHA does. So far, SCOTUS has upheld State's rights to mandate vaccines, and so far, the courts have upheld private companies, like Norwegian Cruise Line, right to require vaccines. arstechnica.com...
