An admitted straw purchase? Doubtful.

Unless you we're being facetious, then I agree.

Although Kyle’s possession is permitted if his friend purchased the firearm on KRs behalf, that is a separate crime. In that case, Kyle didn’t do anything wrong but the straw purchaser did. This would be akin to buying a firearm for someone who is a prohibited person, underage or otherwise unable to buy one

It’s why anti gun laws make little sense. He can posses a firearm, but can’t purchase it or even buy ammunition for it. If there’s ever a case showing the need to get rid of gun laws, or how gun laws are abused to try and make a criminal of someone..it’s this case!

Is it against the law in Wi to lend someone a rifle?

No

But I believe one or more has admitted he purchased it for KR. I could be wrong

Perhaps he purchased the rifle for Kyle to use, not keep. Problem solved!

Agreed ☺️ That’d have been my instinct as well

Would have been smart. Or to say nothing!

But I believe the facts support a different conclusion. Of course it has nothing to do with KRs charges

Given the massive amount of prosecutorial misconduct that has happened during this trial I'm not sure that DA will bringing charges against anyone.....ever again.

No, not if they are legally able to possess.

Its abit confusing but owning firearms is very different from purchasing but knowing the difference key.

No. I'm serious. Rittenhouse was given the weapon on the day of the shooting. Nothing happened to make anybody believe that it was a permeant transfer. I take my 12 year old Great Niece out shooting all of the time. I bought her a .22. She uses it under my supervision. Plain and simple. Unless they can prove that Rittenhouse took the weapon permanently it isn't a "straw purchase". Under Wisconsin's law, again that gray area, he is allowed to possess that type of weapon, it's not a straw purchase". I'm pretty sure that for it to be a "straw purchase" it would have to be a weapon that Rittenhouse is not legally allowed to possess.

They have to prove that the purchaser had the intent to give the weapon to Rittenhouse permanently. That's hard to do. Looking at that law, I could have bought the weapon for Rittenhouse as a gift. Because he is supposedly allowed to possess it under the law, it's not a "straw purchase". The only curve I see here is Illinois law on possession, but, that would be for the State of Illinois to determine.

This was at apx 2pm

I don't know but what we saw looked disturbing. A whole caravan, every kind of military vehicle.
A white bus with the windows blacked out, possibly an bus for those arrested?

www.military.com...

Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers has deployed 500 National Guard troops to the Kenosha area as the homicide trial of Kyle Rittenhouse comes to an end.

Closing arguments are expected to begin Monday, after which the jury will deliberate.

They must think that the Jury is going to acquit real fast.
