It really does feel like paradise...even without our furniture having arrived yet.
No skeeters...so far...but we do get the ocean breezes.

Reminders of driving in my old ass Mustang with no A/C after high-school. I would wear a pair of board shorts and sandals while driving anywhere. Pop the rest of my clothes on after I arrived where I was going.

We have some of those foot and a half long mosquitoes up here. Others say they are geese, butI think they are just albinos.

We're just coming up on our first year anniversary of our move to Florida. There's not one moment I regret my decision.
In fact, I had to head back to our old hometown in Western New York for my daughter's wedding this weekend, and now I'm even more convinced that the move was a good idea.
I must be some kind of mutant, because the summer weather didn't really bother me as much as people claim. I acclimated pretty quickly. In fact, during this visit to New York, I'm finding I'm freezing because the temp is only 55 degrees.

Went through the greatest free State in the Union to get there......

Welcome. Depends where you live, but get ready for the junkies. FL is a nutty state... hope you're fine with that.

I lived in Jacksonville for a while. We used to go down to the St. Augustine area quite a bit.

Dick's Wings has the best wings in Fl.

If you ever go up to Jacksonville, there is a little German restaurant called German Schnitzel Haus. Amazing food and they even serve beer in a giant boot.

Are reticulated pythons a big deal in FL. I recall something about them being an increasingly invasive species.

Alligators are mad because they got all them teeth..and no toothbrush. And pythons, well, they're upset because no one wants to be hugged by them.
