Yeah, thats not a biscuit but a fluffy cake. And it should already be moist with some fine almond liquor when its made, no need to wait.

Solid 10 for me too

I actually got into a friendly discussion with Alex Guarnaschelli about it one day social media. We were trying to define it as cake or a standard pastry. We agreed it's delicious no matter what.

Exactly! They are typically soaked with espresso coffee and/or liquors (marsala or brandy).

It's a kick ass dessert with a punch!
