Actually, the only time any President o rex-Pres was anywhere near Hazard was Nixon's visit to Hyden,just down Hwy 80, to dedicate the high school gym. Eastern Kentucky's counties are rabidly Republican.

Where i went to high school they would not even think about doing anything like that there is a navy base on one side of town and navy officers kids go to the local high school
and the high school is on navy land.
If something like that happened, the base commanding officer would be at the next school board meeting along with NCIS.
