Uploading Pictures Not Working

How come I can’t upload pictures from my iPad anymore? I’ve tried using mobile & desktop versions. All I get is the “only image files are supported” message.

I've had to use an actual desktop for a year or so now. Can't even access my previous uploads on a phone, even in desktop version.

Just tried to upload a pic on android, it let me get all the way to the point where it uploads, but then doesn't show up in my uploaded pics. It's been a few months since I've uploaded a pic, but it worked fine then. I'd say early summer.

1. Needs to be a .jpg, .png or .gif file. By default iOS saves images as .jpeg
2. Needs to be a small enough size. I shoot for 100 kb give or take as a rule of thumb.
3. I use these apps, but you can use what you wish to resize and convert to .png as I find them easy and the ads happen after you save your pic. For size I go with 350 pixels wide and let the height scale to avoid distortion.

100 MB ??
Are you sure about that? I thought each image had to be under 2 MB.

I just delete the E

You don't have to use a program to convert it.



That's the way it is on my desktop anyways.

And while a wonderful thing to drop the ‘E’ on the desktop, no option for that on the iPad or iPhone or any iOS device.

Move the pics you want to use here to files on your iPad then upload from there.
The format automatically changes to one acceptable by ATS when you do this.
I had to figure this out myself and I find it much easier than running pics through an App to change the format.
I’ve also found that if the pics file size is too big I take a screenshot of it and put that in files for uploading.
So far so good……👍

i've never been able to successfully get my head around the pic uploading procedure here. also, for many days this site has been very very slow and unresponsive in general. often i can't even connect and have to retry many times.

i use a (somewhat obscure?) browser called maxthon on my laptop. usually works fine but recently, really sluggish.
