That thump thump beat is called trance music, I love it, it makes me vibrate, chills up the spine head tickling vibrations... Its not modern though, I often wonder if we were dancing in packs before we could speak in a trance of mental worship to sonw horned God. Its in our DNA that stuff
Interestingly heavy mental fans are often soft, likely because their music let's them blow of that anger so many bottle up

Yeah I get that and do my best to not judge. I"m older now, well into my 70s. When trance came along with the heavy beat I had already transcended into ambient music, space music that also allowed those vibrations chills and tickles. Just without the pounding beat. Now and then I like it for a bit.

And yes, I think you are right in suggesting it may be in our DNA. How many ''ages'' have our tribal ancestors grooved to the beat of a drum and a simple chant or pipe? Much longer than rock and roll has lasted for sure.
