Does the US government have names of everyone who took a coronavirus vaccine stored in a database?

Healthcare providers can share a head count of complete or partial vaccinations but no identifying information.

A centralized Federal vax list... so not surprising....

I receive a call from my health care provider, at least once a week, sometimes two or three times a week, telling me where I may go to get my vaccination.

I do not answer their calls. I block their number; but phone messages still come through.

So I'm on their list and they know I have not taken the jab.

You are 100% wrong. You are referring to IIS. VAMS is specifically for coronavirus vaccines. Now VAMS allows for cross referencing with IIS but VAMS database is administered by the federal government not at state level at all. So wrong. Where did you learn that from CNN or the actual CDC website where I got my info from?

Info is entered into VAMS database by whoever administers the shot to you at the time you receive your shot once you have all the required shots for whatever vaccine you got you can use that as proof you got vaccinated. According to the CDC website, but that got me wondering if they were doing this at the beginning when there was the mass vaccination events and tents and things or just now that things have cooled down some.

I agree that it is stupid but don't you feel like you are tacitly supporting these policies? The best way to help changes happen is to affect the wallet. If nobody went to any venue that required a vaccine passport, government policy or not well, what would all these business owners do? Hopefully stand up and say no, government we don't want your vaccine passports, we are losing all our money.

Or do you really support these measures?

I'm not putting small businesses out of business, there's been enough of that, and I don't live in New York where I can appeal to my legislators.

Healthcare providers enter the vaccination info into VAMS. Your name, DOB, which shot you got, lot number etc. I don't think it is affected by HIPAA because it is being shared with the CDC.

The best Vaccine Passport you can carry is a pocket copy of the U.S. Constitution 😃

It is lame that the government has put business owners in this position but I feel like it's every man for himself at this point. Don't stand for something, fall for anything like they say. I have no problem voting with my dollar and saying no to these things. If businesses die, whose fault is that? The government's and that is where business owners' anger should be directed. In that scenario it is literally the government causing businesses to close. If everyone said no I am not spending a dime anywhere that requires this, it would end quickly.

In Canada, the government is the one storing the data on the shots. Many people are pushing for a Federal level vaccine passport instead of provincial government centered. Some businesses around here are already blocking non-vaccinated people from entry. It really sucks.
