Something odd

I didn’t expect to be believed by the sheriff's office when I called them. But I have seen many strange things on the road from Taos to Durango, but this, this was something different entirely. I had read about the dog headed men smoking cigarettes at skinwalker ranch, but I swear I saw a dog with a man's head on it.... Ordinary looking face, late 20s, short beard and raybans, running down the highway pacing my pickup about 60 mph.

I immediately called the Sandoval Co. LEO office, told them what I saw and of course they laughed and hung up on me. I could still see the man/dog running on the side of the road and thought maybe I can communicate with this creature and pulled over in the bar ditch and waited to make contact with it. What’s the worst that can happen, right? It ran up and stopped about 8ft from me and started to tell me that it had just escaped from a lab in Dulce and wanted to know if it could have a ride to the KOA campground in Chama. Well, what could I say? Of course, I was nervous but I said sure hop in and down the road we went. ½ hour later I dropped him off at the KOA and before he left he said “what’s the frequency, Kenneth? I didn’t know what he was talking about and left without saying anything.

I often wonder what happened to that, I guess....”guy”

It's a treatment/scene for a screenplay I have in the works. Should be in the film festivals by Xmas.

Not sure of the final title. Maybe...."What's the Frequency, Kenneth?"

I’d love to write a screenplay.
I’ve only recently begun writing myself but hey, who knows.
I’ve got a lot of real life stories in my head that would make for a great Screenplays.

I liked your nautical story as well!!!

Please join us and write a screenplay. Start with a short one 10min/pages max until you get the industry standard down. Then write what ever your muse guides you to. Streaming has changed everything and the industry is needing fresh content and paying good money for it. btw...I'm an indy producer/director/filmmaker looking for good stories to shoot as well. Both these software apps are great and worth the money...what we use.

Good job and fun. I will admit that I had to look up the lyrics to the song. I remember the song but could only decipher a few words of it. Looking at the lyrics makes your story very cool.😎
