Sadly as I'm un-vaccinated I won't be there but just knowing Alice Cooper and The Cult are touring together makes me feel all warm and fuzzy , and there will be videos.
Of note (for me) is John Tempesta is drumming for the Cult , saw him with Rob Zombie ... great drummer.

"We're not worthy !"

What a match-up! Alice Cooper and The Cult!
Two of my favorites.

The percussion on this song is insane:

I had this album in high school:

What a billing!

Never saw either live ... but as a discjockey I played both artist/bands.

I'd say that "She Sells Sanctuary" by the Cult introduced me to a genre/style that I had not really looked into and it moved me. A few years later a number of bands I managed were aficionados of the Cult also.

I'll toss in there that I still have my first Alice Cooper Album stashed away somewhere in my huge record collection.

VIDEO's

Yeau.. can't wait to see what gets posted after the gig.

***ETA***

If you've never seen the film "SuperMensch" it chronicles the Manager of Alice Cooper (and numerous well known personalities). It's an amazing Independent movie by former Saturday Nite Live Alumni Mike Myers (were not worthy).

Fantastic documentary that will blow your mind and make you say over and over.. "I never knew that"..... (or I'll give you your money back on the admission).

SUPERMENSCH

Seen 'em both, back in the day. The Cult edge it over Alice Cooper live - or did back in the 80s.

Wonder if they'll do some of their early stuff?

Yeah sadly they're both missing from my list of "seen them" too and likely to remain so as proof of vaccination will be required here , not sure my ears and tinnitus are up for it anymore anyway.

Sins of the past.

I recon there'll be plenty of fan service from both Cooper and The Cult.

Seen Alice Cooper live in 2008. It was an awesome show. He did all his best skits and everything. Definitely recommend seeing him live if you've got a chance.

I saw Alice Cooper here in Cali. I think it was in the mid to late 70s. I just cant remember. Seems like there was a projector showing a movie of him on stage, and all of a sudden, he slipped right through a slice in the screen, right where he was in the movie. Thats how his concert started. Small auditorium too.

Another good one I saw here was Pink Floyd. There was laser pyramids tumbling over our heads, above the crowd.

I used to love going to concerts. I think I may have seen Alice twice

But no Vincent Price to do the Black Widow intro .

If I may put forward a slice of personal philosophy, I feel that Man has ruled this world as a stumbling, demented child-king long enough! And as his empire crumbles, my precious Black Widow shall rise as his most fitting successor! ....

I remember.
Possibly .
It was the 70s .

I've seen Alice twice. Both times were amazing. I think the energy of him knowing how much he enjoys the stage performance adds so much to the show. Raise your fist and yell tour was the last one. He's an amazing artist. I'd love to play a round of golf with him. He's whip my ass, but it would be great conversation.

Jethro Tull was another great show. He surprised me. If you can play the flute angrily, he did. And with purpose. I thought of him as I saw both at the same venue.

Alice on the Muppets was also amazing. If you can find a video of that, it's worth it.

Alice was cool until he began dispensing medical advice

Alice urges fans to get jabbed

Now if he was a real rebel he would have created a concept album based on the theme of The Black Widow as one of the super villains sitting upon his throne and picking at all the bones....and still his mesmerised followers are chanting, "Love him, yes we love him..."

Interviewer: "So, Alice...great album man."

Alice: "Thank you."

Interviewer: "So how come, you are not touring this year?"

Alice: "You kidding? Government regulations insisting my fans must get vaccinated to attend my concert? Nahhhhh." Decided to produce a concept studio album instead.

Interviewer: yeah, The Black Widow....is that like a follow up to Welcome To My Nightmare?"

Alice: "That's right Jan. Being a born again Christian, I want to emphasise that what is going down in the world today.....y'know this whole control grid thing is really like the work of some dark-souled satanic super villain who's such a psycho....well its all fits into the theme of the Black Widow."

Interviewer: I'm sure your fans would have loved to have seen the theaterization of this album on stage.

Alice: "Well Jan my new faith comes foremost these days and I hope my fans will be patient and enjoy the album until these dark clouds are lifted."

interviewer: 'Thank you."
