Haven't tried this, but you could split the stream up in groups of 8. 8 bits (a bit is a one or a zero) is more or less the standerd size for character representation. Then fetch yourself a character table, and look up the corresponding character. E.g. 01001110 binary is 78 decimal, which corresponds to the capital letter 'N'.

You could use a simple script in you favorite scripting language (e.g. bash, awk, etc.) to do autotranslation.

squint your eyes and try to see the picture.
