The greatest ever Rock Band, playing live at " Celebration Day " London O2 Arena December 2007.

Yes they where the greatest in my opinion. 20 million fans applied for tickets for that concert. Yes you read that correct, 20 million applied.

Epic song from a band of true giants of rock.

They were so prolific, every album is so distinct. Only 2 bands did I have all their albums on vinyl, all their albums on cassettes, their albums on CD, and then finally all their albums on my iPod, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd.

Loved them since i was a kid.

The last album Robert Plant released was pretty good as well if you haven't heard it.

Every member a legend in their own right!

Some of the early live footage puts modern bands to shame.

Led Zeppelin, the greatest cover band of all time. They took songs few people knew about, reworked them, and made hits out of them. They were sued multiple times for not crediting the original artist.

Nevertheless, I still consider them one of the greatest rock bands in my lifetime. A lot of talent, and a love and recognition for the great blues artists known and unknown such as Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon, Bobby Parker and others I can't remember off the top of my head.

I've been a fan since the first time I heard them on KSHE 95 in the early 70's.

I was here. Then. Right out in the center. I especially remember right about 7:30 mark in this video. It was wild. It was amazing!

I applied but didn't get anything.

A friend of mine applied, got two tickets and sold them for £2000 each.

I know that many consider this blasphemy but Led Zep have never been a favourite of mine.....but I know they were great musicians.

As people are posting video's of Page & Plant as well here's a couple more video's of them.
My mate Mike is on the drums.

Unfortunately he's no longer with us, he was a cracking lad.
