In my never ending quest for anti-oxidants and also sources of potassium (which most of us are badly deficient of), I have come across this article
regarding the benefits of pomegranate juice. It appears to be good stuff!
Article found here:
www.forbes.com...
New research finds drinking pomegranate juice increases heart cells' production of nitric oxide, which scientists believe could reduce fatty acid
buildup on artery walls. The fruit also is high in antioxidants, vitamin C and potassium.
I'd be interested in any comments and if anyone has any additional sources of potassium (I eat a ton of bananas to get most of my potassium, but can
get sick of them at times....)
