Who is in charge - Dr Fauci or the Surgeon General of the US?

I was wondering why Dr. Fauci seems to have taken over the job of the Surgeon General of the United States?

I looked up the latest news articles on the Surgeon General and he has been making statements on COVID vaccines and other issues lately, but for some reason I never see or hear him on the TV news broadcasts. It seems to me that he should be the one addressing the pandemic on television, not Fauci, I actually forgot about him. Why do I have to look up the surgeon general to find his opinion on public health? He seems to support Fauci and the vaccines, so why isn't he getting the interviews on the evening news?

I do remember he was issuing statements early on in the pandemic, but Fauci has upstaged him and seems to be the new authority on public health now.

The surgeon general is the overall head of the commissioned corps, a 6,500-member cadre of uniformed health professionals who are on call 24 hours a day and can be dispatched by the secretary of HHS or the assistant secretary for Health in the event of a public health emergency.

As for Dr. Fauci, as Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and the Chief Medical Advisor to the President, I can understand the focus being on him for this pandemic, but I don't understand how he is the end all on public health. He should be answering to the surgeon general who should be the spokes person for public health concerns. In his position Fauci is a specialist, where as the surgeon general is about over all public health. It's like getting advice from a brain surgeon for treating high blood pressure or other general health concerns.

Perhaps this is on purpose because the SG should be addressing all aspects of public health including the risks of vaccination. He likely has all available information on this public health emergency and could issue warnings and give support to the vaccine (as it seems he has) but he could also bring some moderation to all this and support all available treatments as his concerns are the over all health of the nation. He is America's doctor, not the vaccine pusher we have now in Dr. Fauci, the big pharma poster boy with a keen interest in controlling the dialog of the pandemic as he was directly involved in the creation of this novel virus that became a pandemic.

Just something that came to mind, the absence of the surgeon general in the broadcast news reports and why Fauci is taking up his air time. Agenda, control and some health for profit scheme is all I can come up with.

A quick glance at some of the SG's latest news has him on Fauci's side, of course that is the controlled media, so if he has contradicting information or any alternative to 100% vaccinations, they don't want the public to hear it. Also he may be as incompetent as the rest of the Biden administration, so he isn't as involved as his job description would have him be. I don't like him personally, I have to go back to the Reagan era with C. Everett Koop for a SG I kind of respected.

Trump has been out of office for months you really need to find a new obsession this isnt healthy.

I dont know why Trump decided to give an immunologist lab rat the lime light rather than a virologist that had real world experience dealing with a virus.

Your theological timeline has a bend in it, just like Revelation 5 precedes Revelation 12, but no big deal, and that aside, no, there is not going to be some kingdom of hell the devil tries to sell, no endless party, where debauchery reigns. There is a lake of fire at the end of the line, no nightclubs, no casinos, no hotels, no whorehouses, no office or government buildings, no air conditioning, weeping and gnashing of teeth, no smiles, no ice buckets and no running water. The lake of fire will be a place of great equality, maybe that some positive, for all the commies, except their leaders, that are always more than equal, going home to their mansions, after a long day at work, terrorizing and purging their own people. It's very similar to the Democrat platform. We'll see how they like God's cancel culture.

In addition, I do not think it's obvious, to a largely unbelieving world, that Satanic forces are in charge, the many that don't even believe God's word that post here the proof, and people in great peril. In any event, physician heal thyself. Kind of looks like you brought it up first and I replied as I find it interesting, however, I feel it strays from the purpose of the original topic. I actually agree with you, but it belongs in a different forum, that's all. I don't want a bunch of humanistic atheists trying to deflect from the topic because of Biblical references. I do appreciate what you posted though, keep the faith, we will all need it.

I heard from this thread and a couple of others that the surgeon general has been making public announcements, but I have been ignoring the evening news lately to see if has been on those programs. I just wonder why he gets so little attention and Dr Fauci has been in the lime light (not much lately though it seems).
