The 12 minute gameplay video is a showcase for both the power of Unreal Engine 5 and what Devs can do with it , Black Myth: WuKong is set in 16th Century China and is based on a based on a Classical novel of that time , I think the main character has a Monkey (tv series) vibe to him so perhaps it may be related to that , nevertheless the game does look stunning.

Due in 2023 on PS 5 , Xbox X/S and PC when hopefully graphics cards will be a thing you can purchase.

The snow effects in the first battle were down right impressive.
Looks like another Souls like Sekiro type game.

Yes. And the book is Journey to the West. Fairly good considering it was an early example of Chinese Fiction, hence one of the four classics of Chinese Literature. Akin to Homer’s The Iliad but structured more like The Odyssey. Although I enjoyed Water Margin much more.
