Quake Remastered availabe Now

There have been hints and rumours of a remaster to celebrate the games 25th anniversary for a couple of months but out of the blue today Quake Remastered hit steam , buy the original for £7,99 ($10) and get the remaster included .

The remaster features improved graphics , all the original levels plus 2 created by Machine Games , the original Nine Inch Nails soundtrack and up to 4K resolution.

Got the Ascent and a couple of others this month so I'll have to wait a couple of weeks but yeah I'll be there.

Doom, Quake, C&C.. oohhh all those memories from those LAN parties, real LAN parties without internet.
Only some serial cables, coke, chips and stonk.

I think the mod for Quake, icculus.org... Dark places, looks way better. They spent years making modern textures.

I was more of a Duke3D fan back then, here is a fan remaster of that old game but like any always scan downloads for malware and virus though I already have this and have not detected any, still careful.

Still I did like Doom and remember shooting what I thought were demon tomatoes, a legendary game for it's time and one that got many gamers to finally upgrade to a PC back in the day.

I played more quake 2 multiplayer.

If anyone is interested Quake is discounted at Green Man Gaming , I just picked it up for £2.23 instead of £7,99.
