Construction of Mickleham Quarantine Camp in Melbourne, Australia

Construction is under way at Melbourne's Center for National Resilience - the unwieldy name given to the new quarantine facility in Mickleham - with the camp set to open by the end of this year.

A community engagement session was held earlier this week on progress of the fast-tracked 1000-bed accommodation site for returning travellers, however residents were told that builders would not be delayed by any consultation process

Why the hell is Australia building a quarantine camp?? We have vaccines now, don't they work??

Of course, they didn't let the public know what they were building this whole time, until recently. I wonder why haha.

The centre is being built on Commonwealth land and construction costs will be funded by the federal government, with the Victorian government to run the facility

I live in Canada where Trudeau has already built a bunch of these mini camps in Ontario and out west. So far we haven't had to use them (I don't believe), and I'm not even sure how many actually exist....but after reading this, I wouldn't be surprised if we see more talks about these special camps later in the year towards the fall/winter.

Hopefully this is a nothing burger, but I'm really not sure what else this big quarantine camp could be used for besides using it as a prison for the unvaxxed, or if it's because the Australia government is anticipating a lot more deaths/sickness later this year and needs the extra beds.

Whatchy'all think? Am i reading too much into this? Smells like more BS to me.

I see little hope for Australia, as well as the rest of the world actually, authoritarianism is the order of the NWO. No resistance is allowed and you WILL be chipped.....

If Australia keeps going the way it is, there will be zero people employed and the people who are left to pick up the pieces will be so horribly demoralized that we wont recognize them anymore.

You can't just keep locking people away (China welds you in) and hope that they don't come together at some point and just kill you. These politicians and 'experts' are creating the worlds worst powder keg. There is SO, SO, SO, SO much resentment out there now....

Wait till food control takes place and your truckers are replaced with UN truck drivers escorted with guards. This may be a bit head of its times, but has happened in countries of strife .

Right now we are seeing food price increase for two reasons, labor cost and fear of shortages. Labor cost is real. The fear of food shortage WILL BE real. We will most likely first see it in the frozen food section. We already see here so I'm am not making this up.

Also, gas prices are increasing weekly here, but we've seen 6 dollar a gallon prices in the past, wasn't a big deal actually, food packaging became smaller, prices stayed the same.

Mickleham….has that nice concentration camp ring to it….I like it.

Over the last twelve months a very deep and disturbing psychosis has developed through a significant amount of the population here. Unfortunately that psychosis is even more deeply entrenched in our politicians who, given they never want to be seen in a bad light, always want to appear to be doing something, even if that something actually has profoundly negative outcomes.

Take the state of New South Wales, for example. The state premier has effectively ceded control to the police and subsequently the military. At first it was about enacting policy based on the evidence and data, but now the cops are in control and making the rules, things are going to get bad, real bad. Sour ce, paywalled but you get the idea.

Love how they word it, as if tax payers aren’t a thing.

You’re 💯 accurate that there shouldn’t be a need for such a facility if everyone is “vaccinated”.

If quarantine is still necessary then can you really see international travel being permitted despite a vaccinated population? Something doesn’t add up but that’s been my thought for a while now.

What other nefarious reasons are behind such an undertaking? Time will tell but seems we are basically paying for our own imprisonment but that’s hardly a new thing either.

This country I love and whole world for that matter, is going down the toilet as we sit idly by and whoever can’t see that needs to wake the f@ck up!

I like to look at history and see what happens when things take a turn like this. Yes, it rhymes but is always different. Nature always plays a big part. At the moment we might be on the verge of a system collapse. but it is only being driven by Government policy to keep the rich at the top of the food chain. I mean once the happiness index gets so low, nobody gives stuff, then nothing much gets done then it's full collapse and then a reboot. All this over what amounts to the bad flu isn't what it's all about, it goes a lot deeper.

This is the next step when fascist propaganda fails to achieve the tyrannical objectives.
