Historically, this sort of move is pulled just before they do something we REALLY don't like

Exactly like that one thing that had being just recently pushed. No doubt JT would use for his campaign boost.

Its a bit comical how JT first had his photo op taking the AZ then switching to moderna will he do more in the future for the booster shots?

Even when you Google “Trudeau’s Opposition” it’s a real waste land. Most people haven’t even heard of the people running against him ever even in passing and are likely to vote Justin back in because they literally know nothing.

I don’t mind Jagmeet Singh but I get the feeling once/if elected he will operate exactly like Justin or possibly even mroe globalist.

Justin ain’t playing around he is already running his ad campaign they say after calling the election.

The jig is up.

Canada's a write off. The citizens are basically under house arrest with some of us expected to maintain the infrastructure while our leaders bleed us dry, censor opposition, and poison the air with propaganda 24/7 which our taxes pay for. Our votes will go to traitors pushing the fake threat of man made climate change or the fake threat of cooties 19 both designed to destroy us as a nation. Our cities are being abandoned with shops closing in record numbers. We need a Trump.

I think we live in different Canadas. Ontario is absolutely booming. My city is growing like crazy and people are flocking here (possibly from wherever you are from?). Tons of Canadians hit a windfall from the skyrocketing price of real estate. I know a ton of people from my job who sold their houses, retired early, and moved to a lower cost of living area. You used to be able to buy a house for $350K (maybe 3-4 years ago). Now the dirt cheapest offerings start around $600K. And the demand is huge.

Anyone who likes high real estate prices will vote liberal. No doubt Trudeau will win again, quite likely with a majority. The progressive vote is split and the conservative candidate is a human version of wonder bread.

Interesting way to say you don't have a financial background.

As opposed to a wanna be engineer parroting media talking points, without a shred of thought put into it?

Okay corn row.

I want to add this, since you are so savvy and knowledgeable. Please explain why utilizing a US monetary management policy doesn't work for a non-primary reserve currency, and how that affects the economy et al.

I will wait.

Okay wait, I shared some observations about southwestern ontario as well as my opinion about how that would impact the election, and now you're requesting... that?

Keep waiting. Feel free to hold your breath.

Can an American buy land in Canada, specifically the Yukon Territory ? How’s prices there?

You can! Prices are still decent in that area, but I wouldn't recommend it.

There is a major movement going on right now to demonize foreign property buyers, country wide. And, you will be inside areas where legal enforcement is less than favourable. You most likely won't face too much physical danger, your average Canadian is way to cowardly to come at you directly, but you will have regular property issues as well as endless petty thefts.

It looks like The PPC is gaining traction with Leader Maxim Bernier.

From what I can tell, Maxim is the only Good (leader) one left.

Canada’s 2021 federal election is officially a go Global News

Governor General Mary Simon has agreed to Trudeau's request to dissolve parliament and trigger the election early.
The election slated for October 2023 has been accelerated no next month.
Interesting that Trudeau is labeled "Liberal Leader" and not "Prime Minister" in that video...

So why call for an election 2 years early?

1-There is huge turmoil in Afghanistan again, and it's beyond a doubt that troops from Moose Country will be sent to help
2-Also, there is the massive tax issue we're about to see in the aftermath of financial supports like CERB in Canada
3- And if somehow vaccines gain full approval and Canada moves to total vaccine mandate of all citizens...
These are some humungous weapons to use against the Liberal party in the next 2 years

Perhaps they are trying to avoid a predicted fallout, an imminent and /or massive drop in popularity before 2023?
Erdogan did the same amidst crisis in 2018
His was a power move, to guarantee a few more years of control, even if you crap the bed for your country in a big way less than 12 months later.

Perhaps the same is happening here? What better time when the Liberals are in such a strong position right now?
Historically, this sort of move is pulled just before they do something we REALLY don't like

Current Polls:

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, betting that his standing has been improved by his government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic while his main opponent has failed to gain traction with voters, on Sunday called a snap federal election for Sept. 20 in a bid to regain a majority in the House of Commons.

Trudeau, first elected prime minister in 2015, has led the country since October 2019 with a minority government. Winning a majority would mean he would no longer need to rely on opposition parties to advance his agenda and stay in power.

The next fixed election date was in October 2023, but a prime minister here may at any time request the governor general dissolve Parliament — the step that triggers an election. Trudeau, 49, met Governor General Mary Simon, Queen Elizabeth II’s representative in Canada, on Sunday, and she granted his request.
