Dang the waters are now coming up too fast. This is crazy. Over ( sorry I don't know the number) people from 2 years ago are still in temp housing due to weather. People don't know that .

If you have a pump handy and it does not get too high here are some ideas.

These probably are not that good but an ex military guy like yourself will be more than handy enough to know your way around doing what you have to if push comes to shove.





It may be advisable though to move your valuables to high ground.

Once again best of luck, it is unusual for a nation as disaster prepared as Japan to have this kind of problem so likely the situation is even worse than we get to see it on the news here.

Would be nice if we could somehow pipe all that extra water to the western U.S. The weather patterns are all out of whack now. Drought here, floods there, etc etc

No kidding! Here in BC our summers are usually dry but this summer is creepy and crazy, as is the massive unusual rain elsewhere.
