Need info about Photoshop

I've wanted Photoshop for some time now but I can't seem to figure out where to buy it and what to buy. It would be appriciated if someone could give me some information on the softwear, any major stores to buy it....I don't know anything about it other than its awesome, so any information at all will be appricated.

It's an awesome program but rather expensive @ around $650.00.

Geez...are you serious....well is there any cheaper version thats still pretty good?

Paint shop Pro is not as good as Photoshop, but if you look about you can get it on the net for about $50 I believe.

Yes and Yes. Adobe also offers a product called Adobe Photoshop Elements, it a very functional program. Basically it's a cut down version of Photoshop and it can be purchased for about $100 bucks.
