Japan planned to withhold public announcement of Lambda

This was just on the news that I caught wind of. So money over the health of the nation. Well, 1 billions dollars so far has been the cost of the Olympics.

This is a basic run-down of what has been taking place.

On The 6th, 15,645 infections have been announced nationwide so far, the most so far in the day's announcement.
As a result, more than 1 million people in Japan have been confirmed to be infected with covid-19.

In addition, there were a total of 20 deaths: 5 in Kanagawa Prefecture, 4 in Tokyo, 2 in Osaka Prefecture, 2 in Aichi Prefecture, 1 in Hyogo Prefecture, 1 in Hokkaido, 1 in Chiba Prefecture, 1 in Saitama Prefecture, 1 in Okinawa Prefecture, 1 in Fukuoka Prefecture, and 1 in Akita
Prefecture.
A total of 1,002,805 people have been confirmed infected in Japan, including airport quarantines, with 712 passengers and crew on cruise
ships.
A total of 15,274 people died, with 15,261 confirmed infected people in the country and 13 cruise ship
passengers.


1. Fukuoka Prefecture announced today that 742 new people in the prefecture have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
2. Yamanashi Prefecture and Kofu City announced today that they have confirmed that 79 new people in Yamanashi Prefecture have been infected with the novel coronavirus.
3. On July 7, it was announced that a total of 1,893 people in Kanagawa Prefecture were confirmed to have been infected with the novel coronavirus.
4, This prefecture is next to Tokyo, On July 7, 1,449 new people in Saitama Prefecture were confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
5. Miyagi Prefecture and Sendai City announced today that 106 new people have been confirmed to be infected with covid-19. It is the third day in a row that the announcement of the infection confirmation of the day exceeds 100 people.
6. Tochigi Prefecture and Utsunomiya City announced today that they have confirmed the infection of the new coronavirus in 164 new people in the prefecture. It is the third most announced day ever. 9,216 people have been confirmed infected in Tochigi Prefecture.
7. Osaka Prefecture announced today that 1,123 new people in the prefecture have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
8. Ibaraki Prefecture and Mito City announced today that 256 new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
9. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government announced today that it has confirmed that 4,566 new people have been infected with the coronavirus in Tokyo. It is the second largest ever, with 508 more people than on Saturday a week ago, and the rapid spread of infection continues. The capital also revealed that four people who had been confirmed infected had died.
10. On July 7, it was announced that 347 new people in Hokkaido have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
11. Aichi Prefecture announced that 459 new people in the prefecture have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
12. Okinawa Prefecture announced today that 548 new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.

13. That's 109 more than last Saturday, the highest number of infections ever published on Saturday.
This brings the total number of infected people confirmed in the prefecture to 28,167.
14. Hyogo Prefecture announced today that it has confirmed that 503 new people in the prefecture have been infected with the new coronavirus. This is the first time since May 8, three months ago, that the number of people in the prefecture has exceeded 500.

We should let the next superpower wannabe (looking at you China) build facilities to permanently host the Olympics going forward.

Let them deal with the operating costs and health issues.

For the known infections, of course.

As far as I can tell, most people who have gotten infected didn't even know it.
I'm fairly certain I had the initial infection in december 2019, I was ill for a few weeks. certainly not the worst I've been I certainly wouldn't have called it the flu. Bad enough to work from home when possible.

Since then I've known exactly one person that I've ever met in person to have tested positive. They wrecked his business for months over it, forced him to call every patient they had, causing havoc.... he never even got sick over it, and none of his patients did either.

I do believe some of the scariest words uttered are "I'm from the government and I'm here to help".

Just saying the last thing you do is get tested for it. Usually after you are admitted and at death's door. Otherwise no.

I've been tested three times in 2021 (that I know of)- for the virus, not the antibody.
Because rules said so- it's been a trying year for me, medically, and they required these tests at certain times for basic life saving medical procedures.

Having said that, all three (that I know of) were the big q-tip shoved up my nose.
My understanding is that test, if it even does anything useful, will only say if you happen to have the "virus" - (4-1m instead of 50-1m for standard virus tests? didn't I read that?)
But there's the rub- if the test is checking for the virus itself, that would mean its good for what, a three-four week range?
Three tests in the 20+ months the world has been freaking out would only cover 15% of my potential infection time, and if I had been infected at any point in the other 85% of that time, I'd already be more or less immune. And I wouldn't be included in the stats as having been infected and not dying.
To add insult to injury, I'm now blamed by the brainwashed for being the cause of the variants, while also being blamed for the continued spread.
