Try starving and eating rats who eat the dead bodies laying around. Being operated on without anesthesia and the entire wing of the hospital uses the same needle for everyone if there is any antibiotic available. Next time you think you have had it bad or been mistreated think about her story.

All due respect, but this girl has gotten a lot of mileage out of playing the victim on U-toob. I don't like NK as much as the next guy, but some of the stuff she says is pretty over the top. She's all over u-toob and many other social medias. She knows where the money is, and don't think for one minute she doesn't.

NK is a horrible place, no doubt about that, with some of the worst human rights violations on Earth, but this girl is telling a lot of folk tales. However, I'm not sure I'm going to listen to her for very long when she predicts where America is going to go. She's playin' for feelz. Don't be mislead.

I've been checking out some of the stuff this gal posts for years, and if you look carefully you can see a number of trends in what she does, how it's edited and how she plays it.

I'm all for blowing NK off the face of this planet, but she's not the one who will make me press the button.

Dig around a little bit and check out her back story. She's a playah'.

ETA - 95% of the stuff she talks about didn't happen to her personally, but rather happened to someone she heard about (i.e. a friend of a brother from another mother who knew a guy who's other brother had someone tell him about it, etc.). In other words, it's just a folk tale or legend. She's actually from a fairly wealthy NK background and this is how she escaped (alive). Yeah, she's got an axe to grind alright. She spins a good yarn, but she's making a lot of it up for drama. Drama sells in today's sick world. Housewives of Beverly Hills is a perfect example.

She's made millions off of this stuff, and she's laughing all the way to the bank. Again, don't be mislead. There are lot more credible refugees from NK. She sells because she's just a cute Asian face on the internet, nothing more. If she was truly real, she'd have no teeth and be a beaten down old hag with countless and incurable medical issues. Let that sink in for a minute.

North Korea has some of the most advance shopping malls in the world. High class stuff also. Just like any other country. You have those that have and have not.

I’m going to tell you why I believe her.
My mom was alive before there were two Koreas. North Korea is just like that time.
She told me stories of a similar nature, her own personal account, not something heard secondhand.

Stories of how they survived and stories of dead bodies. The train one stood out to me because my mom told me a very similar one of a school she went to. They stacked the bones of the dead in the basement, just bones.
My mom told me they were so starving they would resort to anything to eat. They would walk in the ponds and if a leech was on their leg they would grab it and eat it. There were hundred of stories like this.

My mom lived without running water, electricity or healthy food. When she was this woman’s age she was drop dead gorgeous. She was not an old hag in any sense of the word. I do think this lady will have medical issues down the road though.

Is this lady making money off these videos, yes, but that doesn’t mean it’s fake.

So either N. Korea is a giant orgy, or this lends some credence to the above girls' stories of limited equipment in the hospitals.

My point wasn't about the video in the OP, but rather the larger point of this girl has no less than 3-4 different U-toob accounts, one of them entitled "voice of North Korea". She has numerous other social media accounts on just about every social media there is and then some. It's pretty obvious she's making money on singin' the blues about NK and playing the victim. I have absolutely no doubt that NK sucks beyond description, and that there are unimaginable injustices there, but I sincerely doubt she experienced many, if any, of them, contrary to what she alleges.

I applaud someone exposing the nightmares of life in a place like NK, but I have a major issue with people riding other's coattails for fame and glory. I'm sure she has all kinds of stories...which she heard from someone else.

Here's kind of the bottom line; this girl was one of Kim Jong-il's inner circle. In order to even get there her family was held in very high regard with the regime. Generations before her in her family were high party members. She lived a life in wont of nothing; she was part of his 'pleasure squad' or whatever it's called (not hookers, but basically cheerleaders and waitresses), pampered and coddled. She now plays the victim at the expense of her family who spent generations making a better life for her...and she's sent them all to the gulags for generations to come to make a buck on U-toob. (Read that last part again...twice). She's making a buck at the expense of her entire family who will now be tortured and work in labor camps eating sticks and bugs.

I don't like what's going on in NK anymore than anyone else, but I'm not going to sacrifice my family to make a buck on U-toob over it. I'd like to see the leadership of NK burn, slowly, and painfully. It's a backwards and horrible place, run by evil people who oppress millions so that they can live in luxury. Seems, she's kind of doing the exact same thing now, just on a smaller scale.

Like I said, do some research on this girl's background. She's not the victim she plays. She's telling stories to make a buck.
