I think it is just different goals. Slowing down the spread of a virus that has a survival rate in the upper 90's compared to someone working in a lab with bugs or fumes that will definitely harm them just isn't the same.
Australian Health Officer says not to talk to neighbors or be "friendly".

What’s the difference if it’s a biological virus hot spot in a packed city like New York City with people literally living on top of each other vs in a hospital vs a lab?
But what is the goal?
Slow the spread that is probably going to happen anyway.

By treating your neighbor like a cancer.
For “ a virus that has a survival rate in the upper 90's”
That’s not humanity.
You do know the coronavirus isn’t going away. How long have we lived with the coronavirus that causes the common cold?

If you think covid is going away, I suggest you start reading up on animal reservoirs……

I will when you stop conflating things like "treat your neighbors like cancer" with something I said and asking me questions that contradict what I posted.

No. You are the one that doesn’t understand personal protective equipment either protects you from injury or illness, or doesn’t.
That is how you measure it’s effectiveness.

Ignorance such as not understanding why you should wear personal protective equipment, and when it’s effective is fueling such attitudes.

And with a virus that doesn't cause injury or severe illness in the majority of the population extreme PPE isn't needed or are you telling me everyone puts on a full level A hazmat suit every time, regardless of what they are dealing with?

There are people in power that are making policy for zero covid. Or making a bid for centralized government. All I can do is point out the stupidity, and resist.
