It sure looks like the autocratic commie/socialist dumps of the world are having a real hard time the COVID19 crisis is reaping on them

Why isn't CCP helping

Its hard to say if this will be the match which ignites Iran to overthrow its leadership, but i sure hope so, whose next? (checks notes) hmm North Korea would just strait up massacre its population, (checks notes again) ok lets try Venezuela again

It's almost like the lower the level of overbearing government control on a people, the better...hmmmm...

I'd love to think these are completely organic without any impetus from outside forces. We shall see, the last 20 years or so makes it difficult to take anything at face value anymore

Irans been trying to over throw its government for a while now, they can smell the corruption and stench of autocratic regimes, they tried in the Arab Spring and was put down quickly, they've tried a few other times since 2011

The difference now is COVID19 more specifically lock-downs, crippled supply chains and demand for Iranian oil is an autocratic wrecking ball

Here's hoping,

It"s one of the things I've enjoyed about my career we have worked with many many different people from different nationalities and regions.

Yes, Iranians have been struggling with this for a long time...

It's a juggling act though I mean hell I like to think Obama really didn't mean to let loose ISIS but that's kind of what happened in Syria.

Id second that... Iranians are otherwise great people, smart people, its the leadership which wants them lock in a forever war and nucleation of the region, a very dangerous move for the entire middle-east

Are they really or have is this caused by the west again remember the last time with the NGOs?
I am surprised there is money left to start uprisings. But somehow the gulf dictatorships are all good right?

So uprisings in Iran but not in the Gulf states? i am not going to believe these protests or so called uprisings.

Iran is sort of the antithesis of a communist country. They're a theocratic dictatorship. That said, China and Russia will likely not directly interfere in any Iranian citizen uprisings but you can bet they'll use their veto powers if the UN attempts to intervene against whatever the Ayatollahs decide to do against their rioting citizenry.

Lot of tension in the overall world right now and the impetus seems to be coming from within and from outside in all of the different locations.

I think Iran's more ready for democratizing and not fully westernizing, but having the freedom to chose who and what they're.. than say.. Saudi Arabia

which speaks volumes

Prior to the Shah being overthrown in '79, Iran was arguably the most Westernized country in the Middle East. If Iran (or a foreign entity) could break the Islamic Ayatollahs' spines, Iran would likely return to those days of prosperity, freedom, and liberty with most Iranians celebrating the change.

I'm referring to actual outside governments, hell let's face it it could be CIA-backed, or Chinese even Mossad or others. I don't think it is but the possibility is there

Hi. Have we considered the possibility, that the main two countries without NWO™ banks, are also somehow miraculously on every other countries enemies-list ?
Iran™ and NorKo™.

Our Politicians™ tell us that we should hate them.
Cause : you know ; they need some Democracy™ !!!

So has Iran gotten their BIS approuved central bank yet ?

Something to consider about the people in the streets and various hot spots around the world Is COVID and its impact on someone's ability to make enough money to survive. When you got nothing and have lost everything I can see why people would take to the streets and point fingers of blame. The problem is they are disarmed and the government enforcers have plenty to break the back of an unarmed population; just look at Hong Kong.

I'd have to respectfully disagree. This may seem like nitpicking, but they're more the antithesis of communist theory. How communist countries wind up in practice isn't that far off from Iran. Dictatorships. The biggest difference is in communist Russia you had to worship Stalin. In Iran you have to worship Allah. Level of freedom (or lack thereof) very similar. Quality of life (or lack thereof) very similar.
