That don't mean we should not at least strive towards a semblance and/or measure of equality for all.

Else there is not much point to existence if you don't manage to tick the cream of the crop box.

Fact of the matter all the same, i canny ever remember peace on Earth in all my 46 cycles around the Sun.

"There" games rigged to begin with.

War is a multibillion dollar industry in this day of age.

Empire after empire, and nation after nation, have tried and failed to conqueror or pacify what is considered today to be the modern nation of Afghanistan.

The kicked our arse out and sent us packing with our tail between our legs back in 1842.

And that was pretty much whilst we held sway over 2/3rds of the planet.

Why is that? I’ve never heard of that. I know you don’t go to land war with Russia because they’ll scorch the earth.
But what’s up with Afghanistan?

What I am talking about Freeborn is a political takeover of the Middle East through the back door which was opened for the Iranians by the invading forces from the West and their coalition.

Today Iran runs Iraq through its paramilitary forces.

Today Iran is entrenched in Yemen.

Today Iran is in control of Lebanon.

Today Iran is increasingly creeping into a relationship (based on economic friendship) with Jordan.

The people as per usual this time in Jordan may not want an Iranian presence in their country which begins as economic saviour and then ends up with a military alliance yet it is happening once again. Interesting read btw on how Iran is filling the power vacuum in a Middle East www.jpost.com...

The three nations you mention hardly constitutes the 'takeover of the Middle East'.

Islam is fundamentally split along Sunni/Shia lines.
Shia have been persecuted in both Iraq and Yemen.
Lebanon is in desperate need of investment.

Are you surprised that Shia gravitate towards the largest Shia power in the region?

Wahhabi's, and by extension Saudi Arabia, has funded, sponsored and supported almost every extremist Islamic group coming out of the region in one form or another.
And they have brutally suppressed opposition groups and minorities in many of its neighbouring countries.

Saudi Arabia is flexing its muscles in other areas as well, as the rift with UAE clearly shows.
They wish to dictate OPEC+ policy whilst developing new areas of their economy which aren't dependant on oil production, to the detriment of neighbouring economies.

The Saudi's don't just want their cake and to eat it, they also want to deny other countries the crumbs they leave behind.

Apologies for not going into greater depth on many of the points raised; I don't want to bore the tits off you and well, you know the rest.

Its the diversity of the people really.

Nobody can conquer Afghanistan because any invader has to completely subdue the entire population.

Which is comprised of Pashtun, Turkmen, Baloch, Palaw, Tajik, and Uzbek, but to name a few.

Then there is the terrain to consider which makes conventional warfare a near impossibility.

Its just a really untenable situation on paper and in practice.

Its the same guy joining and getting banned time and time again.

He's really beginning to get on my tit ends.

Mods do their bit and delete his posts and ban him....but he just re-joins under a slightly different name and starts posting his #e all over again.

Big, massive wanker - something I usually reserve purely for BMW drivers!
