They had AWS hosting (Amazon Web Service) and pressure was applied after Apple dropped the Parler App from the App Store and Google was pressured to drop the App from Google Play. So yeah, they were deplatformed by big tech. Maybe you missed an avatar I had concerning MySpace.

You can still download apps without something being in the app store and there are plenty of other hosting services outside of AWS.

Amazon, Google, and Apple were risking losing money from advertisers by continuing to host Parler. At the end of the day, these companies' first priority is to their shareholders.

Had a quick skim thru the Complaint but I'm an English lawyer so not that familiar with US law. I've seen LA Law and as much of Suits as I could stomach - 1 episode - and that's about it
😉 so not qualified to express much of an opinion so I'd be interested to hear from any US lawyers on here about the merits.

Sites should be allowed to operate how they want. The parent companies of these organizations however should be under heavy scrutiny for potential antitrust violations. Then again the same can be said for most tech companies, even the one I work for.
