Did yiz hear any other fans booing national anthems during the tournament?

No? Only at the English games.

Its the semi final of the 2nd biggest football tournament in the world. Put that into context. Along with the nazi salutes.

Obviously i know it happens at other games, but this is a semi-final. And the brits are booing a national anthem. Again.

As for diving. Yeah i shouldnt have said that i put me hands up. Was just sickened the way yiz got the penalty.

Harry Kane got denied a blatant penalty. No dive.

What nazi salutes?

So you conveniently brush over clear examples of Scottish, Welsh and Irish fans booing God Save The Queen.

Why should the fact that its a semi-final make any difference?
If its wrong its wrong.

And what is good for one is good for another, end of.

Nazi salutes?
When?

One of the most noticeable things about this tournament had been the diversity.
And the make-up of England's support has been more diverse than I have ever seen.

Never seen or heard anything about racism, racist abuse and definitely not 'nazi salutes'.

Please show examples of this.
If not......?

Indeed. England take the knee and we are all over kick out racism.

What Nazi salutes? Indeed.

We went to Croatia when England played them.

Were advised not to go into town to watch the game in bars. Cos would not be safe.

Hotel was full of Germans. When we won we did a Conga round the pool.

Just to piss off the Germans. Which it did....

I dont brush over it happening between us and youz of course not.
Its to be expected between us.
The whole world is watching and the talking point of the match is the behaviour of the English fans
But you do realise its that behaviour and worse is an example of why people dont like the English

Nazi salute and a steel cap boot?

I went to google images to see if i could get another example and found this. Just to prove its from the Denmark game here is the same set of fans

Look they're arseholes and i havnt brushed them all (the fans) with the same brush. But when people see and hear that it puts them off the English.

Well it certainly seems like you are.

Casual dismissal at best.

Its to be expected between us.

Why?
If its wrong its wrong.

Do you get all pissy when English fans boo 'The Soldier's Song'?
Or is that 'just to be expected'?

The whole world is watching and the talking point of the match is the behaviour of the English fans
But you do realise its that behaviour and worse is an example of why people dont like the English

And what about Irish fans singing pro-terrorist songs?
That ok?

Or what about the behaviour of Russian thugs at the last few football tournaments held in Europe?

What about Italians literally pissing on English fans - including women and children - seated below them?

What about Dutch fans slicing teenagers before games?

What about Italians stabbing teenagers and attacking defenceless families en masse?

I could go on and on and give you a seemingly endless list of things like that which I have witnessed first hand.

And that's without giving examples of fans from other nations behaviour towards each other.
Just look at the outright hatred and racism shown by Turks and fans of some of the Eastern European and Balkan nations.
Far, far worse than the English...but sure, save your bitterness and hatred for those bastard English.

People look for reasons not to like the English and use a completely different set of values when judging them.

The world is full of horrible bastards, the English are not unique in this, not by a long shot!
Its just that any example of English being 'bastards' is seized upon and used as justification for the hatred shown towards them whilst ignoring exactly the same sort of behaviour by other nationals, often against the English.

Its hypocrisy and double standards of the highest order.

Nazi salute and a steel cap boot?

That is NOT a Nazi salute and for you to portray at such is simply wrong!

The guy has his hand outstretched, sideways, whilst singing a song.
That's all it is.

You seem to be desperately searching for images to fit your allegation which you made without any reason.
Do you honestly think UEFA and UK MSM would have ignored any 'Nazi salutes'?
#ing hell man, they would be all over it, it would be plastered all over the newspapers and Sky Sports would have had a #ing field day screaming that to the whole world.

It didn't happen.

Stop it.

But when people see and hear that it puts them off the English.

People just WANT to be put off the English, it fits in with their bigotry against them.
It justifies their hypocrisy and double standards regardless of how baseless they are.

Your apparent outrage at the booing I can sort of understand - even if it is a clear example of the double standards that are applied to the English.

But the manufactured allegations of English fans making 'Nazi salutes' is truly shocking.

I really thought you were a lot better than that.

Just watched BBC News, they had a report showing people in fanzones singing and celebrating.

Guess what, many people had their right arms outstretched to the side - just like the guy in your still photo - whilst singing the words to Three Lions and Sweet Caroline etc.
Shock, horror - some of them were Black, Mixed Race and of Pakistani or Indian origin....even noticed a couple of Chinese looking people.

Guess they are all Nazi's and racists?

Hey man im willing to be proven wrong. Do you not think it looks like he's making a nazi salute coz it sure does to me? I will put me hands up and say i was wrong again if proven so.

How can you tell its not a salute? The bloke behind him in the grey top is out to the side but the bald guy his arm is out front and centre. It looks exactly like a nazi salute.
Just because non of the media picked up on it does not mean it didnt happen.

You seem to be desperately searching for images to fit your allegation which you made without any reason.

I seen the image first which is were i made my statement from.
I went searching for a second image which is were the second image came from.
The whole reason i made the statement is from the first image which i seen on another site.
You really think i just state that and then go 'desperately searching' for images to back it up? Really?

Look at the bloke in the grey top behind the bald guy. Now look at the bald guy. The bald guy's arm is out front not to the side.

You can throw in as many examples of other countries treating each other worse, but they are not the topic of this conversation.
You can go down the everyone hates the English anyway road all you want, but yiz bring it on yourselves.

UEFA are charging the FA over the fans behaviour the other night.

No, it looks nothing like a Nazi salute.
The guy is clearly singing something, possibly God Save The Queen. Maybe Three Lions or maybe even Sweet Caroline.

Lots of Nazi salutes here then?

Its a still photo which you are trying to make fit your narrative of racist English supporters.
Its not true, didn't happen and wrong.

And YES, UK MSM would have leapt on any racism and blown it right up.
Have you seen how they are driving the BLM etc agenda?
Sky Sports would have #ing loved there to have been some racist scumbags there spouting their #e because they would have taken it and made that into the story and not England doing so well and their supporters - by and large - being incredibly well behaved but very vocal, passionate and supportive.
If any other set of fans had been as vocal, passionate and supportive they would be lauded and congratulated....but not the English.

Yes, UEFA have charged the English F.A.
I've made my feelings on the #ing moron(s) who shone that light in Schmeichel's face pretty clear.
And they've been charged with letting flares off - wow#ingwee.
How many flares do you think Italian fans let off when they won against Spain?
Are the English really that unique and out of order for letting off a few fireworks in celebration?
What a set of bastards!

Examples of other countries acting like and even worse than English fans is EXACTLY the point.
When its England everyone makes a big song and dance about it.
Someone else and its either brushed aside and excused or even celebrated.

Hypocrisy and double standards.

I could post literally hundreds of video's of football fans from around the world singing and dancing and enjoying themselves, many with raised and outstretched arms.
Take a still photo from almost every one of them and you could twist it and say its a 'Nazi salute' -they aren't, they are just people singing and trying to have a bit of fun.

There's enough hatred and #ing misery in this world without having to manufacture it just to push a bigoted message.

I have however spent the last hour or so on YouTube watching funny video's of football fans of lots of different nationalities having fun and singing some very funny songs - most, if not all, of the latter were either English, Scottish or Irish fans.

Lots and lots of outstretched arms......

I'm going to cut the grass with this playlist on loop.

England belongs to me - Cock Sparrer.

England - Angelic Upstarts.

Vindaloo - Fat Les.

Sweet Caroline - Neil Diamond.

There'll always be an England - Vera Lynn.

Jerusalem - Katherine Jenkins.

This time we'll get it right - England 82 squad.

World in motion - New Order.

Three Lions - Skinner and Baddiel.

There won't be a Nazi salute in sight.

You havnt the stones to say it looks like a nazi salute.
His arm is going forward not to the side. The guy in grey behind him is going to the side. Do not come on here telling me the are the same because they are not. You know their not.
Look at how his hand is, its a salute. Dont tell me that does not look like a salute because it clearly does.

Im not twisting anything or pushing a bigoted message. You want to get that monkey off your back because you're wrong there pal.
I point out what is clearly a salute and you're on that bandwagon. You could say that 'yes it does look like a salute but i doubt it' or whatever. Straight away you're on the 'everyone hates the brits' path. I havnt gone down any road and desperately searched for images to fit my 'bigoted' message. To me that looks like a nazi salute and to others it does too. Thats stating a fact. I havnt followed it up with any rhetoric. Any anti-English words. But you stay on that road all you if thats more comfortable for you

The first is probable... For the second it must be Bob Oscar Oscar Bravo Sierra!

In the end, let's just settle for: Bravo Oscar Oscar Zulu Echo!

You havnt the stones to say it looks like a nazi salute.

Trust me wee man, I have the stones to say what I want, where I want and to who I want....and have done on many, many an occasion.
You know nothing about me....which is probably for the best, some things are better not known.

But the reason I've said it doesn't look like a Nazi salute is because it quite clearly isn't a Nazi salute and anyone who's viewpoint isn't clouded by bigotry and a preconceived opinions of English football supporters will tell you this.

Do not come on here telling me the are the same because they are not.

I'll come on here and say what I #ing want - within T&C obviously - and you or no other jumped up opinionated bigot will stop me.

You know their not.

Now you are trying to tell me what I know and what I don't know.

I've made my OPINION perfectly clear and given ample reasoning and supportive evidence to back that up.

That you can't accept that just shows what a locked in mindset you must have on this.
Fat English football fan with bald head ergo must be a racist.

Look at how his hand is, its a salute. Dont tell me that does not look like a salute because it clearly does.

I've shown you literally thousands of other football fans making exactly the same gesture whilst singing along to football songs, particularly Three Lions and Sweet Caroline.

Im not twisting anything or pushing a bigoted message.

Certainly seems that way.

Oh that's right, dislike of the English isn't racist or bigoted....because, well, they are English aren't they.

You want to get that monkey off your back because you're wrong there pal.

Seen and heard it so many times before.

I point out what is clearly a salute....

No, it isn't 'clearly a salute'.
Its not clear at all.
Its a still photo taken of a guy singing a song, lots of other people around him are also singing the same song - no Nazi salutes.
So why would this guy be giving a Nazi salute in the middle of a song that has no racist sentiments or overtones whatsoever and in the middle of a load of other people with their arms outstretched but not giving racist salutes.

I've posted video's of people singing those songs with their arms outstretched in similar fashion.
Just having some fun and singing songs.

But you won't have it will you?
You just can't accept that there was no racist intent there whatsoever.

....and you're on that bandwagon.

The only person on any 'bandwagon' here mate is you.

This thread was purely about football.
Nothing personal, no insults - just football.
Then because you saw a photo of what someone has misconstrued to be an English football fan giving a Nazi salute you start hufifng and puffing acting all offended snowflake like.

When people call you out for being WRONG its them apparently who are in the wrong.

I guarantee you, that guy was NOT giving a Nazi salute.

Yes, in the past.

Great efforts have been made to eliminate it, same as in society in general.

Which is why if that guy had been giving a Nazi salute the media, Sky Sports in particular, would have been all over it.

Racism in English football is no where near as bad as it is in many European countries - that doesn't excuse the #ing morons and scumbags who still try to spread their #e at English football matches.

If this guy had really been giving a Nazi salute I'd be among the first to voice my disgust - but he wasn't.

Ha ha ha.
Trust a Scot to not give an impartial view of an English game of football and England in general.
