What happens when your brain chip is no longer supported by the manufacturer, or they stop providing security updates for your dongle and you catch a computer virus though your output port.

It's bad enough when your phone is considered obsolete, or they remove function from your games console after launch.

Can you imagine what it would be like if they did this to part of your body?

I can't remember the movie title I have in mind, but future sci-fi set in a dystopian society where the medical technology has advanced to prolong your life by cloning your organs, brain implants, etc and you 'rent' their property inside you. When you don't pay or can't pay they send a debt collector to remove whatever you had implanted.

Well mate doesn't look like you've been posting here for quite a while but think that movie is 'Repoman'.
