The silent disappearing of the Japanese race is what is taking place

First I just finished a 5 prefecture cycling tour here in Japan. Spent nearly 2 months traveling on a cross bike loaded with my camping gear. I got to see first hand of the aging population and the abandoned houses and unplanted rice fields. Its a silent event happening in front of many little villages across Japan. Due to the corona virus , the import of foreign factory workers have been reduced or even stopped. Many farmers are actually hurting for help and I'm quite surprised the Army here hasn't stepped to help out yet. Maybe in the future.

everyone bitches that the world population is at a breaking point and the Earth can't handle it, so when the population is set to go down there's panic? Isn't that what you wanted?

Comparing the death clocks with the birth clocks. I don't think this planet has much to worry about, at least not regarding a decrease in population.

The more global our societies become, the more integrated they will become. Unfortunately, I don't think it will do much about wiping out bigotry. Not as long as some have brown eyes and other have blue eyes.

We as humans will find some way to feel superior, and to discriminate against each other, and I guess there will always be a Mr. McBean and a star on machine.

I've been hearing about Japan's declining population since i was in high school. And i recall one time watching a documentary about a Japanese minister of sex who's job was to encourage young adults to get it on because young men prefer to date virtual girls instead of real ones partially due to the way marriage and working life is in Japan, where men basically work themselves to death and get an allowance for booze and smokes from their wives, but also because hikikimori life is a thing among younger people there. Not that it isn't here too to be fair....

As for here...we've got a lot of immigrants, our population has been increasing, birthrates though i believe has been declining.

I know they took a big hit in the mid forties.

That dont sound like no corona virus to me. That sounds like a generation or two stimulated in over information and constant bombardment doe to the technological and digital age. That # will take its toll on anybody.

But if the Japanese go? I will miss all the anime and manga.

I see some Anti Japanese sentiment here that has no place on this site, I Know there are a lot of people that still hate Japan after WW2 but that generation was three and four generations ago now so come on folk's the modern Japanese other than an aversity to facing up to true history and a lack of school education about what happened and what Japan actually did during the war had nothing to do with it.

These kids were not even born until the nineties and late eighties that we are talking about here and those subjects are for other threads so leave it out or go and start another thread to vent that anger please.



My take on it is this.

World populations is growing but it is growing in India and Africa and a few South American country's and not much elsewhere.

In REAL term's population in the US, Europe, China and Japan is stagnating and falling, Birth Rates are well below the sustainable levels needed by our society which is destined to create nations of elderly people with very few young.

This DECLINE began in the 1980's, population Alarmists were calling for birth controls and reduction in OUR birth rates as far back as the 1960's but it took them over twenty years before they gained traction with there doomsday predictions.

While they had ALL the means they needed to enact a secret policy of birth control based on hidden medication in our food's, water supply's and even medicines as well and of course brainwashing, cultural re-education and removal of government help aimed at helping children by penalizing those that have too many children especially in the more socially caring nations.

The result is this, the end of first world civilization and the passing of our legacy to migrants from the third world, kicking and screaming regardless this is what the secret hand behind our demise has orchestrated as it failed to limit the third world population.

If it was NOT for the third world growth of populations I would have suspected all those little grey guy's of being behind an plan to wipe us off the map so that they could colonize.


No our problems are homegrown, we have lunatics with power that want us to die off, to destroy the young and wipe out the the useless workers they no longer need 'to there retarded mind set', the so called useless poor of society.


It could be turned around with a concerted effort by Government to get family's to have kid's, invest in the new generation, pay child support and set up agency's to monitor the well being of the children to ensure those kid's had proper life quality, sell the happy family unit to people again so that married family with kid's is once again a desirable and natural status in life but they are not going to do that of course because of greed, too much power in the wrong hands and what they think is a working policy that may even allow them to legalize killing the poor off when they are no longer of use to there corporate slave owners under the guise of Eugenics and HELPING the old to pass peacefully (oh let them live long enough to ensure they invest in all those pyramid pension schemed as after all that money goes into the rich bank accounts.

They SHOULD encourage YOUNGER mothers, mothers in there late teen's to early thirty's have healthier stronger children that are also more intelligent, younger fathers, as men age our sperm deteriorates and so our children are more healthy when we are young fathers than when we are older fathers.

Such a new generation of young birthed by the young creates a powerhouse, young parents whom can still pursue careers in there late twenty's and thirty's, young stronger more intelligent children that are ready to pick up the reigns and propel a nation forward with vigour and vitality.

Just saying that with, at least, over 160,000 abortions in Japan every year...fertility may not be the issue.

That is a very good point and a legacy probably of there society crowding people into tiny houses and apartments, forcing woman to work in long hours as well as the men so that even with all that work and the combined pay most couples struggle to afford a reasonably sized home and bringing children up in such an environment is even more difficult as it combines both the mother not earning money and the father having to earn even more.

That could ONLY be fixed by there government placing family life as a priority, giving pregnant woman and mothers there more protections and rights as well as of course there children and a radical restructuring of there society back to it's more traditional family based roots.

But as I point out it is not not a problem isolated to the Japanese Archipelago, I believe South Korea is also an aging population.

First world issue an one Japan been having time ago I heard. It is one of the most expensive countries to live in, with leaving the impression of having a very high standard of living. Also doesn't help one savings if they go out an party everyday.

Seeing as homicides are said to be non-existent, while youth suicide go up after exams.

Doesn't sound like Japan has that free market flexibility, an is very dead set on education, while in the West, most entrepreneurs are college drop outs an some don't even have a high school diploma, an are richer then every other intellectual schmuck.

What also sucks, is Japan isn't known to have vast amount raw materials, compared to other countries, an mainly rely on manufacturing.
