As I said in another thread:

There are some people who seem to think that white people are so obsessed with wanting to hate on and oppress black folks that all we do is sit around thinking about how to design every aspect of everything in a way that oppresses them and denigrates them.

It's really sad and says a lot about them.

After generations of slavery and undermining can you blame some folks for being psychologically over sensitive????? Fact is the white man has countless incidents to be ashamed of regardless of how far the reach at times.

"Lord grant me the strength to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things i can, and the wisdom to know the difference."

Did you forget the color of the people who rounded those slaves up to sell or trade to the white men? Without those people, slavery doesn't exist in America.

For the love of god what are they teaching you kids these days.

I know you believe that, and thats whats so imcomprehensible to me. Talk about cherry picking partial information to make yourself feel better about your own ignorance.

I knew i shouldnt have commented on this thread lol because everytime i read some of this crap i lose a little more of what faith in humanity i still have.

Bless your heart, too.

Bless all yall.

So you agree that soap dispensers are inherently racist because a person said so?

You’re claiming that the African slave traders were not black people

You’re wrong

White people abolished slavery. In EVERY western nation.

The fact that words definitions are changed willy nilly for political and questionable social reasons, makes it impossible to even communicate and way too possible for people of bad intent to disguise their own bigotry as being socially responsible, when in fact they are definitive bigots attacking the innocent, by accusing them of being what they in fact are.

The end game is always using such obviously corrupt tactics to gain the upper hand. The goal is obtaining power or privilege themselves. No intelligent person is fooled, not even them as they laugh at how gullible people pretend to be, to avoid being looked at badly.

The visible face of it all in the media and politics masks the fact that most, if not nearly all people see right through the ruse. We put our worst face forward by allowing politicians breeding hate for power and their sycophant buddies in the media to get away with it.

The people at the very top give it all quiet nods, while not actually participating themselves, so when it goes too far and people object, they can pretend they were never a part of it. Those who are participating in it will be the sacrificial lambs who are tossed aside, before being quietly rewarded with other forms of power and riches.

Racism is not the problem. Not really. It's that people participating in the madness no longer give a damn about MLK's timeless quote "I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." They are right now spitting on his grave by shamelessly wearing their lack of character like a badge of honor.

....nor is it complicated to understand, some just need to play that victim mentality and then project their insecurities on anyone who dares call them out. If someone takes offence when someone points out how something is racist, theres only one reason why...and its not because they arent, its because they are rightfully shamed and their pride suffers. Thats why their reaction is anger and sanctimonious indignation. Its as clear as a piece of suran wrap to everyone but them.....and its sad.

I understand racism, and I can empathize with much of it. However, in this day and age, the extreme anti-racism nonsense has gone far beyond ridiculous.

Nowadays, people aren't just mad about *(insert todays new racist item here)*.

What upsets them the most is that others don't agree with them, and join them in pretending to be outraged over whatever nonsense.

It's just creating problems out of thin air, and for what? What's the actual point? idk

People are always gonna disagree with one another, and that's perfectly fine, but don't get mad at me just because something that upset's you doesn't bother me in the slightest.
(For the record, my last statement is not directed at anyone in particular. Let's just say that the you is referring to some random thin-skinned woke douchebag whining about the flavor-of-the-day.)

Though as i mentioned to someone else, in some ways im glad those who espouse this nonsense are so annoyingly and obsessively loud about it. Makes it a helluva lot easier to spot.

Do you know what's really sad? The reality that people feel so inclined to post fringe news and belittle racism in general. Usually whilst claiming lefties are fake news hypocrites. It would be funny if it wasn't predominantly sad.

They should turn the news off and maybe stop actively looking for stories to be outraged about. They're buying into narratives that have been controlled by both political parties.

Strong opening post, you raise great points.

Turn the news off.

Even better, demand some ethics within US journalism. Because claiming toothpaste is racist is just bloody ridiculous and it's a controlled narrative that sells to the faux outraged. You quoted MLK, you must know about how your federal government controlled narratives in his day. How they systematically and overtly demonised blacks and literally annihilated their leaders.

Why is there so much shouting and divergence when people wish to have their voices heard? But Paper is racist! C'mon that's just ridiculous.

Man has countless incidents to be ashamed of.
Let's not disregard the atrocities of every other race.

It is interesting that the color and religion of the majority of people who sold others into slavery is conveniently forgotten.

What I'm actually saying is that racism is wrong, but race-baiting is equally wrong both morally and in fact. Racists are scum, race-baiters are scum also. Politicians and media who engage in race-baiting to keep us at each other's throats and our eyes off of them are human waste.

Just save yourself the time and say you are Anti-Anti-Racism.

I won't argue with that.

There's a lot of assumption too, being offensive isn't necessarily a crime and intent has to be proven. The court of public opinion is dangerous and some people have been ruined over free speech and assumptions.

There's a lot of manipulation and it's by design, that said itswhatev had a strong point about individuals accused of racism don't get to decide if their actions or words were or not. Stalkers often don't see anything wrong with their actions either. My point though was about the controlled narrative and the drowning out of reasonable voices. There's a lot of outright dismissal and accusations on all sides.

It's absolutely true that neither side deserves a pass for contemporary political behavior. I opted out of the D & R camps twenty years ago.

The majority of people sold into slavery were prisoners from tribal wars. Basically Blacks sold Blacks into slavery. Muslims sold Blacks into slavery.
