If you're feeling down, do what I do... Create an account on Classmates, search for high schools in your local area, and get their earliest yearbook so you can see what it was like to live in those days. Found one for Texas High School (1940) and whoever uploaded their yearbook was someone who kept up with a lot of the students throughout life. For example, one senior had "Killed in Action in the Second World War - US Navy". It was really cool to see how this lady kept up with everyone through the years. Texas High School (1941), my grandfather was a senior. As I scrolled through looking for him, not only did I find his high school picture, but beside it was his signature. I never got a chance to meet him, but whoever uploaded the 1941 yearbook did, and asked him to sign it.

Those old books always put me in a good mood if Barbara hasn't told me about me.

Yeah, strange trips of nostalgia I wasn't privy to isn't a new thing to me. I come from a very large family, yearbooks were never in short supply.
However the novelty of something like you mentioned makes a dive worth it at times.

But to back to Barbara telling us things.

I have rarely been misunderstood by members of the opposite sex, but definitely have 2 very distinct sides, i am a defender of the innocent but look like a seasoned aggressive fighter, naturally built like a brick outhouse, i possess the ability to hurt severely both physically and articulately however i choose to leash it until my purpose is truly revealed to me, i know I'm here for an eventual participation in a physical battle but only participate to date in spiritual battle which I'd like to think I'm winning but doubt creeps in.

The importance of a more substantial undeniable infiltration of my spiritual essence is something that just may save my soul. Cant get outa the rain or cannot win????

Hi Barbara, sorry I'm a bit late to 'your introduction' - somehow I missed seeing it until today...

I don't post that often anymore, but I saw the title of your thread and thought I should say "hello", since I live in Florida too.

If Brad is feeling inclined to do some sleuthing over there on the otherside -
- there is a bit of a mystery with my dad's side of the family...

Two of my uncles, my brother and my only male cousin all died prematurely - all from quite different and slightly odd causes/accidents.

They all died as relatively young adults (two in their 40s, one at 26, one at 18), none had any children..

It's no big deal, just something that has always seemed a bit strange to me.
