Where is the April Fool thread?

Where is the April Fool thread this year? We used to have one, regularly.
Have I missed it?
Have people forgotten?
Is it being taken seriously, and generating flags and responses?

We could have had one like Here is the new owner of ATS
Followed by a flood of indignant denials from the newer members (the older ones would just groan).

So where was it?

Haha, I was hoping to see an official like announcement saying the new owner was being revealed as, Donald Trump. Seeing the lefties and TDS afflicted members loose their minds would have been priceless.

CNN Publishes Real News Story For April Fools' Day

ATLANTA, GA—Fooling thousands of readers in a prank that the cable news organization said was "just for fun," CNN published a real news story for April Fools' Day this year.

The story simply contained a list of facts, with no embellishment, editorializing, or invented details. The story also didn't cite shaky "anonymous sources" and only quoted firsthand witnesses to the event. It was completely factual without any errors whatsoever.

Baffled CNN fans immediately knew something was up.

Thought about attempting this again but thought it would be caught out too easy. Then again was ten years ago... maybe worth someone remembering and doing again next year?

Let's bring back the original.

They did recur for a couple of years, and I usually posted some comment about separating the old hands from the newbies.

What may have happened in later years was that the Mods got protective about "hoaxing" and angry reactions and began deleting them.
You may have noticed that in my own version in the OP I took care to signal what I was doing.

Alright... that actually makes me want to cry and spew venom...
