Murray Walker's passion for Motorsport shone through in every commentary he ever did , his distinctive voice and enthusiasm won the hearts of all who shared his passion , he started as a motorcycle racer but it was in commentary where he really made his mark.

As a lifelong motorsports fanatic, I really enjoyed Murray Walker's infectious commentary. Sometimes making an incident more exciting than it actually was or his endearing gaffes, which just made him more unpredictable and funny. And always a true gentleman! No one has been able to fill his shoes since he retired.

Fantastic personality.

He had the gift to make F1 sound a hundred times more exciting than it actually is.
