Surprising.

66 is very young to check out in this day and age. Not much older than me. No official cause of death which I find strange.

It was painful to watch his demolition of Alan Minter, though not quite as painful as it was for Alan. And he was robbed when he fought Sugar Ray Leonard who, wisely, avoided a rematch.

One of the boxing greats, his record speaks for itself:

52 KOs and was never KO'd himself.

One of his draws was against Vito Antuofermo in 1979.

Must have been a bad day at the office.
