Wow.
Jagged Little Pill holds a special place in my heart , in my humble opinion it is one of the best albums ever made , I was lucky enough to see her in 97 and her set and performance was awesome ... so was a young drummer by the name of Taylor Hawkins.

I've just heard this and TBH it blew me away , Alanis Morissette , 2018 , knocking it out of the park ... what a voice.

Have a listen then tell me you don't feel better for that ... food for your Soul.

Thank me later.

Love this album.
Found it "ironic" that she is the "spirit guide" figure for the daughter in that new fox animated show, Up North? I think?

Whoever plays the piano, needs only 2 fingers for that song.

Same here and I totally agree! I didn't know she was still performing, is she still married to that football player? She's great. Her second album had a few good songs that I really liked too. This is one of my favorites by Alanis, this is off her second album.

It's called Thank U

God, who did the mix on that song. I like AM but that didn't do her any favors.

I also like Alanis, very much, but my god I just cant stand camera-phone recordings. It's not the mix, was probably good audio being there, which phones just cant capture, although I would have wanted to shove a sock in the mindless zombies who keep screaming and squelling like Americas Next tv show audiences.. argh,... Just shut up and listen. Are you not able to control your emotions until the end of the song? Please?

Op, you've made me cranky.... :-P Please post something with great audio! Something like this?

I remember we were on vacation at the beach when I first heard “You Oughta Know” and I said right there to my wife that Alanis was going to be huge. Great artist and really raised the bar for all female artists. She kind of started it all for Jewel, Sarah McLoughlin and the rest.

I thought she played a better 'God' than Morgan Freeman and George Burns.
