Forget Press conferences...what about the State of the Union Address??

It's funning listening to various reporters say, day after day...
"President Biden will be delivering remarks soon. Maybe this will be the time when he allows us to ask some questions!"
Eventually they will become tired of being forced to listen to the droning/mumbling, without asking questions. Even fake news journalists will realize they're being used at some point.

What about it? Trump didn't give one until January 30, 2018.
ETA: the last 6 presidents haven't given one their first year.

I notice he hasn't gone golfing either.
Or insulted people.
Or tweeted insanely at 2am.
On the other hand he DOES have a Press Secretary that holds daily briefings, and has had several on camera sit down interviews.
Trump gave EXACTLY ONE press conference over his first year (middle of February) and NINE in total across the first 3 years. Trump set a record 300 days between 2019 and 2020 with no press conferences what-so-ever AND no Press Secretary briefings during that time.

President Donald Trump delivered his first State of the Union Address before a joint session of Congress on January 30, 2018.

Delivered on February 28, 2017, the speech was not officially deemed a "State of the Union address"; like the freshman addresses of President George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama, President Trump treated this speech as simply an "Address to a Joint Session of Congress."
Trump was constantly in front of the camera, answering questions and telling CNN they're fake news whenever he got the chance - sometimes multiple times per day. Before and after every trip, and during, he was constantly giving impromptu interviews.

You know this stuff is on public record right?
And you know the difference between a 'Press Conference' and an impromptu 'door stop'?

Joes new clone isn't ready for prime time yet. There was some glitches with the last model acting strange like not wanting to sniff children or get a grope in photo ops.
