Ha, funny you mention the witchy word.. been feeling more and more witchy lately. Even got myself a little witchy cat a few months ago who loves to join me in the garden, and have been cultivating what best could be described as a very witchy hair-do.

Might be the cat and the "do" but I've had a lot of luck with that chocolate mint.

PS doesn't the lemon tree smell divine in bloom? I brought a lemon tree inside over one winter and it bloomed through Christmas with the most delightful bouquet.

Chocolate mint is a freakin’ treat! What a classic taste combo in a plant (of all things)!!!

You may want to check out grow light/herb garden set ups in your garden shop as they have come a long way as to being functional and worth the investment.

Then you can grow year round!

Good luck! And you can always freeze herbs in stock in an ice cube tray to add to sauces (what I do with basil or parsley) and soups.

(camel milk tea!
)

I completely agree about the combo of chocolate and mint in one leaf--seems like nature is being especially generous there!

I think I've decided to find a good grow light! It's so true that having access to fresh herbs year round would be a treat.

Thanks for adding more good info to the thread!!
