Canada the only G7 country to take vaccines from fund for developing countries

The incompetence of the Canadian Liberal Government just hit a new low.

Trudeau went all in on a Chinese vaccine instead of investing in home grown solutions or reliable sources already in the pipeline (See the US and EU production).

Well, that Initial plan went tits up.

Now the solution is to CIRCLE BACK and retrofit existing businesses to manufacture our own vaccine. It should be available in September.

Well, that is September 2022. Talk about a day late and a loonie short.

The COVAX program, co-ordinated by the World Health Organization and Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance, pools funds from wealthier countries to buy vaccines for themselves and for 92 low- and middle-income nations that can’t afford to buy on their own.

Oh boy...there's never been any problems with tainted vaccines destined for third world countries. They've never been found to be laced with infertility drugs or caused polio or killed children or anything.

To be fair, canada is probably the ones who gave China their current lab samples, even if by illegal infiltration.

So they're just getting a return on their investment.

Trudeau has been so out of his league as a leader it's painful to watch. He may schmooze like a veteran used car salesman but unfortunately has about as much substance as one, too.

Eggs in one basket is never ideal, but something as important as a vaccine to reduce the cases of infection in a pandemic is bat # crazy. Maybe he thought that China had already manufactured a vaccine, seeing as it came out of there, and their economy has continued on an upward spike.

Maybe, just as I have heard from friends in Canada, Trudeau is a complete nonce, who is out of his depth, but has a nice smile.
